Quoted from PinRetail:Switch test is your friend.
Often when a switch clicks but the game doesn't register the switch in test mode, it's actually a broken wire at the previous switch.
At the ball trough, all the switches are in line and it's easy to see if you don't have a wire connected. What is hard is making sure that the ball actually clicks the microswitch, and that the balls all stack up right and don't 'rest' without properly rolling onto the switch.
I found a wire off at a stand up target in line with that one switch that wasnt working now it is thanks
