Actually, Gottlieb uses the score motor posts as a way of alternating a feature. I don't know what feature it is on this game. Soccer/SuperSoccer and "300"/Top Score uses the motor posts to feature the "Add mystery bonus" hole, (adding 1-3 bonus). The "Mystery" is really where the current position of the score motor posts are. Also, '60's games Cover Girl and Kings and Queens use the posts to alternate their 3 pop bumpers to score 10 points when lit.
