Presenting a new mod for your Metallica Pinball. This mod surrounds the grave marker hole in the playfield.
Custom fit, fully reversible, no permanent modifications.
It’s printed, hand painted with added greenery and cleared. This was created with a Premium machine, but also works with the Pro.
Installs under the metal ball guides leading up to the cross grave marker. Strong enough to withstand impact from the ball.
This was originally developed with a Premium machine, however, this will also fit the Pro.
Pics show cross up and down with game on and off.
I have a list going of those interested as some people have already contacted me. I will make a batch of these based on the interest level. If needed, a wait list will be created.

To clarify, yes, sometimes the ball does hit this.
When multiball starts the magnet grabs the ball before it hits.
During multiball it hits if the ball is shot up to the grave marker. Also after multiball (before the drops reset) the ball may hit. Not really an issue, it has been designed and tested to withstand the ball hits. The clear helps to seal the paint as well.

I understand your concern. Nothing is perfect and anything can happen. When designing this I knew it wasn’t a bash toy (like Sparky). The amount of times the ball would hit this is far less than anything exposed on the machine. After repeated tests at home and 2+ months on a location machine, there have been no issues. It’s also not a solid color so it would be difficult to even notice.
