A lot of work goes into laying out a playfield and where each shot can go, and where it goes next, etc. etc. Catch Steve Ritchie at a show and ask him how long it takes.
And the manufacturer tossed that work in the trash by putting on shorter flippers.
Was the decision to use lightning flippers really made without the designer's input? I find that hard to believe!
