I was playing my JP, Dino bent down to pick up ball raised up and stopped. Turned the game off and back on and it booted up and went to the Dino test on start up and nothing, no movement. Error message to check Dino switches. Start game and no ball in the shooter lane. can hear the kicker trying to put a ball into the lane but the ball release solenoid was not working. Flippers worked but most other solenoids dead. Turned game off and opened the back box and checked fuses. The top one of the two 8 amp slo blo fuse to the left of the PPB board above the big blue cap. was bad. Replaced it and it glowed bright orange right away and blew again. Thinking something was bad with either one of the dino motors or solenoids went bad I inspected them all, motors turned , coils were not stuck so I unplugged the three plugs under the dino that feed the motors, coils and switches put in a new fuse and it zapped right away again. I did see a post to check the wire bundle near the coil stop at the top flipper to see if anything had worn through and shorted out but all looked good there. Did a little reading on pin wiki and on here and then tested all the tip 122/102 transistors w/ my meter one end to the ground strap and one end to the transistor tab to see if any toned out. Nothing they all seem OK. I'm no novice but far from knowing exactly where to go from here.Seems to be a 34 V short somewhere. So I guess my next step is to unplug things and plug back in one at a time to try and narrow things down. I'm just not sure exactly what to unplug to narrow things down. Any help on which plugs or what direction to go now would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Billy
