So I had som problems with the GI on my Gottlieb Genesis - I narrowed it down to the lampholder below the left ramp, which made the ones after (?) in the row flickering. I touched the lamp and it was smoking hot, and when I checked under the pf I discovered that the holder looked fried and was shooting small sparks.
I turned off the game, ordered a new lampholder and installed it exactly with all the wires as they were before. The ones going to both leads and the two in the bottom.
But when I turn on the game again, all I got is GI in the slingshots and the lamps just above - and the lamp in the new lampholder is glowing a lot stronger then it probably should.
Pop-bumpers and the ones in the top are all dark. Checked the fuses and all looks fine.
Where do I go with this?
Can I do some rewiring or something and get this working?
Any help would be highly appreciated!

More information: It's the long lampholder that's usually for the controlled lamps (not the short one for GI), I ordered the wrong one. But that should'nt be a problem, right?
And the soldering is not as messy as it looks in the pic, the flash makes it look horrible.

I also checked with the dmm and I have continuity on the GI all the way it seems.
