If your woz had the v2.0 light boards I'd pay $7000. It's a 12 hour job to install the light boards and the upgrade kit itself is $800 if you can even find one. JJP says they are currently out of stock.

Woz Ruby red (with the 2.0 lightboards) are selling in the same vicinity.

With the troublesome light boards, the monkey switch needing work and the cosmetic issues... I'd offer $5800 and drive 7 hours south to come pick it up. Otherwise, I'll have to pass.

thanks

If you PM’d me with that offer I’d ignore you as well. This is a steal at 7k!

You really think 7k is the going rate for a Ruby Red with a 2.0 kit installed?

$5800 for an ECLE loaded with pricey mods and a perfectly functional set of lights is delusional.

man people are crazy. I was thinking the same (this is a lot of game for 7k). 5800 is borderline disrespectful.

GL with sale OP - should have no problem at your 7k price. This Game is a work of art and packed with fun.

7k is a STEAL on this game. Everyone knows the ecle is the best version. This one is super clean and loaded with nice, high-dollar mods.
It should be an easy quick sale.

#9 4 years ago

A steal at 7k no matter what light boards it has.

Such a generous offer. Can I get your you pin blades your selling for 2$? Did you really think posting your pm offer was going to shame this seller to think, your correct and have it at 5800!

For you guys saying $7k is such a steal, he's lowered his price to $6800. Better grab it! I'm sure it won't last long now!

I'm only $1000 off. Not offensive. It's not like I'm offering him 50% of his asking price. An ECLE just sold in TN for $7200 with the new & uninstalled $800 light kit included.

Yes it’s offensive, not sure why you’re trolling him. If it were me I wouldn’t even sell it to you at asking price.

Disagree. I watched a routed ecle sit at 5500 last year due tot he 1.0 light boards. At 6800 I have seen ones that have been upgraded or RR's on facebook. Game is great, but they have made a lot of them and they come up often.

Exactly this.

To update it to the 2.0 light boards would cost $800 for the kit if you can even get one. JJP website says out of stock, and the average joe pinball owner isn't going to be able to complete the 12 hour swap on their own. I've seen the pics of how deep into this game one has to get to do the job. I would never attempt that. So, that means paying someone who can do it roughly $50 an hour x 12 = $600. So, $6800 for the ecle & $1400 for the lightboard & labor is $8200. Ya might as well get a MINT, low play ruby red that has no issues and needs nothing.

My offer of $5900 cash WAS a fair offer. I am no longer interested though.

JJP website is almost always out of stock, yet they still have them, all it takes is a phone call to the parts department. I'm an average joe pinball owner, I usually avoid manual labor, yet I did the 2.0 swap, I had fun doing it, and I don't see anyone I would advise against doing the job itself
The old light boards resell for 250-300$ which brings the 2.0 kit down to 500$, and then of course there is absolutely no obligation to switch to 2.0 right away, a lot of people are happily living with a 1.X version.

Offering 5900$ for a WOZ is a joke, and was taken as one here.

I wouldn’t sell this guy a game even if he offered full. Not only a d move to make the offer but to defend it is embarrassing. Avoid at all costs.

Edit - same guy why tried to cash out in Kobe too? Not surprised. Low life move.

You should have. No it wasn’t. Then why did you decide to be a low balling douche?

I just ordered the second to last (for a while) 2.0 kit yesterday even though I haven’t had any light board problems.

You think it was overpriced when I had it listed in the middle of the pinside average? Just wait. LOL. I've been approached by a new TV show coming out this fall about selling the game on the show. You'll see my smiling face on TV after it sells for $10k+. When you see me wink... that's my special signal to you. It means FU.

#32 4 years ago

The fact this hasn’t sold is strange. Market changes ahead.

#34 4 years ago

Not defending dOn in any way but an offer is an offer. Everyone getting their panties in a knot is nuts. Why people get offended is beyond me. The seller just has to say no thank you. Done. It’s a free country. The fact of the matter is the game sits at 6800. He offered 5800. The seller can say meet in the middle, yes or no. It’s a starting point to negotiate. I’m sure most of you have tried the low offer at one time or another. And please the “ I would not sell it to him at full price now “ ok. If he came up with 6800 cash I’m sure the seller would pack it up. Most of you do your low offers behind a PM. This was done out front which is actually a benefit to the community to see market value and negotiation of price. OP good luck with the sale. I’m sure it will sell. Fun game I had it a few times. Timing and location play a factor, tax bills due soon and the market downturn has left a few feeling vulnerable. Hang in there.

Just because you say something doesn't make it into existence. Your offer was shit as is your logic. Just because you're too inept to do work on a pinball doesn't mean op has to suffer from your stupidity.

I'm not "too inept" to work on pinball games. I maintain my collection of 20 games myself. I just have no inclination to dive into a 10-12 hour light board swap on a game that I just paid top dollar for. And yes, it does take that long and yes, the update kit does cost $800 ...if you can find one.

The op doesn't have to DO ANYTHING... which is evident from his ignoring my PMs and posts here. My offer was just that... an offer. He can ignore it if he likes. I'm over it and have already spent the $5900 I offered him on something else.

It's not strange at all. It's a 7 year old game (with v1 light boards) that they made a crapload of. This should be a wake up call to owners trying to sell a standard WOZ for $6500 or more. This ECLE has been unsold at $6800 for weeks.

Then why did you not offer him $6499? You low balled $5800.
