It’s a great machine! I would install a new 3 prong grounded power cord while the playfield is out if the machine doesn’t have one.

I have no idea. It looked almost identical to the plug on my Fireball before I changed it too.
The manual should have a description of the start up sequence. You can read that and follow along how far you are in the sequence as an indicator where things could be getting fouled up.
