Tales from the Crypt uses a flipper PCB so cleaning the switches wouldn't help the weak symptoms. I would reseat CN2 and CN1 on the flipper PCB (small board on the left below playfield) as well as reseat CN1 on the power supply and J7 on the playfield power board.
