BSD is an amazing game and so fitting that it scares even the best of players if chosen in competition.
Achieving a triple stack and hearing THIIIIRRRTTYYYYYY MIIIILLLLLLLIIIOOOOOOONNNN one after another as you blast shots and to then stick the Castle jackpot hearing the scream is extremely satisfying. The Mist Ball is innovative and is a rush in itself trying to hit it rolling across the field.
I love that the physical juggling of the MB's is like an evolving puzzle to solve on the fly as you inch closer to starting each, adjusting strategy depending on which get started or are close to starting, so you can juggle all 3. The goal is straight forward, so it feels possible to do. Yet when you can't, because it's deceptively challenging, you want to try again.
The dots are great in the iconic red or in today's option of color. The original sounds or even the Pinsound available for it is phenomenal (but as a contributor to the Expanded Remix, I might be biased about that). They even got the leading actor of the film (Gary Oldman) to record custom call outs for the game.
This IFPA16 Final bout for the championship highlights the rush of this stellar game and it'll always be a classic (the 15:20 timestamp starts the final ball which might be one of the all time comebacks in competition):
