It made me too hungry i’ll give it that much. Game feels very much like a Stern home pin. Doesn’t really have any wow factor in the game. Playfield art isn’t that bad but not amazing. Game just feels really basic with not really anything going on. Code is early so hard to say much about that.

Fun game . Reminds me of the classic games .
Code is early but seems to have good modes to play .
I will warn you to eat before you play because the video assets will make you hungry !!! I like the animations and the mini screen on the playfield . Fun Hot Wheels type flow ripping the ramps and spinners . Unique drop target location . Simple design and not a lot of toys but a fun shooter ! The fact that the proceeds are going to Barry’s family is a touching aspect of buying this game . This game was produced as a tribute to a great designer and to help his family .
American put this before the next release because it was the right thing to do . RIP Barry .

Amazing backglass and lighting but it really does not appeal to me outside of that.

A very attractive pin with some really interesting art; the gameplay is solid and varied to keep my interest. The music and sound effects are really jarring; there is a weird hum to the music that gets old fast. Its not a complete package, but this is a cool pin that looks great in any setting. I just love that backglass.

With a ton of firsts, this game really starts to seperate what I would deem the old school era of pinball into something more nuanced and modern. For me, the 80s finally brought the pins that encourage a time sink and enough mechanics that really hook the player into more games. This one has a ton of those great features and holds up well even today. It is very challenging to find the shots and avoid drains, in true Black Knight fashion, and I am obsessed with the theme, which obviously spawned two more machines that build upon the foundation that this pin established. A must play for anyone who is interested in vintage pinball.

For the first time in a long time, I was already done with this before I got to my last ball. The theme does as much as it can hot wheels, but the animations are so flat and the machine does not feel great by any means. Really boring pin with almost nothing to excite me or encourage another go around the track.

This game is a love letter to Jaws fans. The theme integration is top notch and the layout is fun and fast. It takes some time to understand what is going on because with how fast and flowy the game is, modes are constantly starting or finishing. Once you get familiar with it all, the game really shines and begins to make sense. The upper playfield is a great addition to the game and is just as fast and flowy as the rest of the game. The shot to get there isn’t a gimme but is very rewarding to hit cleanly.

Overall this game is fantastic and will only get better as the code matures!

One of the most fun EMs I have played, a huge hit amongst tournament players in the PAPA World Championships. Requires a lot of skill to get the doodle bug going for big points. Very interesting flippers that don't allow trapping. The only EM I was willing to buy and add to my collection. Awesome back flash art that is illustrative of the period.

I think Jaws premium is already one of the very best games ever made. I truly believe this will be right up there with Godzilla premium and Jurassic Park premium. This is a 10 out of 10. It's really hard to find anything wrong with it. It shoots like a dream . The code is deep and very fun and immersive. Video assets and call outs and music are spectacular. Theme integration is amazing. This could truly be a number one or number two game.

Art is vibrant and grabs the attention, game is alright. In line with pace and gameplay of this era.

First pinball machine with selectable lanes and pop bumper lineups!

It ends up being a lot more fun than a lot of its predecessors as it really gives you more control over manipulating bonuses and multipliers, and the separation of various playfields works well here.

Yes it is rare, and hard to find, but it is one that is worth finding and playing.

Jaws is amazing. You have to play it in depth to get the rules and it's amazing how much you miss only playing it a couple times. There is literally lights and features on the playfield that you don't even notice or understand until the 50th play and then bam, you just get it and it all comes together in this genius choreography of code and layout. I love the playfield layout and particularly the bash toy shark is so much fun. I admit I was puzzled at first about the ball eating being left out but totally understand why. This is a fast paced game and control is key. Slowing the game down with a slow mech makes no sense. The lighting and sound and all of the assets are incredible and a ton of love was put into this game design. The upper playfield with 4 offramp possibilities is fast and furious and does not slow down the action one bit. Elwin and team strike again in the best way possible. This game at time of my review is only on 0.86 code and it feels more complete than other games in my collection.

Crazy I disliked this game when I first played it. I gave it a chance and now it's one of my favorites. Easy to learn, hard to master. The variety of shots is great and having everything up close versus in the back is a nice change of pace in the lineup. Snatched an unplayed 2 year old LE and couldn't be happier. Love the theme and this one is never leaving!

Proves the rule that you don’t have to have a great theme to be a great pin. Can’t stand the theme but damn… this pin is fun. It’s a piece of art and I couldn’t stop playing it. No idea what kind of nightmare this must be to fix if something goes wrong but short of that I would love to own one. I really look forward to seeing what BoF comes up with in the future.

Great game and one of the first that got me into pinball. Will put in quarters whenever I see one. Hope to own it one day.

This is a grail theme for me. While for some the design might not be "exciting" enough, I think what Elwin and team created is a solid concept and does the Jaws experience justice and the look and feel of the LE takes it to another level immersion. One of the best things about pinball is variety, I didn't want Jaws to another Godzilla or Jurassic Park and thankfully, it is not in the best ways possible.

Love this and GW2. Not sure if it is Steve Ritchie design, the back story (porsche 928 @146mph getting chased by the CHP), thrill of playing the ritchie speed and flow but this game just works for me.

Not as deep as GW2 and no “toy factor” but just as fun. I owned GW2 and probably will buy again, along with HS. Always end up playing on location and dig the vintage vibe and call outs. I lived, drove and raced sports cars in So Cal for 20+ years and although you don’t play the artwork, I bundle it into the whole package.

When set up and you can hear the call outs its the entire package.

They made quite a few and they show up for sale often. A great “tweener” game…not too old, not too new and priced right!

This pin will make you not like Yoda as he makes fun of the inevitable short ball times. My first game lasted less than 5 minutes and I did get better after a few plays, but it is not an easy game (at least for me). Fast and the FORCE drop down targets on the front left of playfield kept me entertained. I am a big Star Wars fan and will play this on location but probably wouldn’t want it at home.

Was not expecting much but this game is awesome. Lots of different and challenging shots! But great on the risk and reward. Beginning players seem to really enjoy it as well, as one can have a long ball without knowing the shots and rules. Toys are fun, especially the Bond, James Bond jet pack. The orbit is a wow shot.

Very much considering it for a perm pin, as I have played over 30 games on it and keep coming back to this one to play.

Apart from some quality concerns, I do enjoy Total Nuclear Annihilation. It really is easy to get the premise down - but it gets more difficult as you go. I do appreciate the throw-back to the Williams games of the 1980s (which is still see as the era that saved pinball).

Of course the light show and the music are what makes the game. It's a very visually pleasing pinball machine.

Played and intended to rate the 2019 comic book pro so will now be on a quest for this older machine and will rate it accordingly. Unless someone can just delete this (couldn’t figure out how to).

My bad.

Jaws bit my undees in 300 games I’ve played. I like the Jaws layout, upper playfield, rising boat and appearance of shark head and then moving fiin. Game code is fun at .85 and should significantly improve over the next six months. Cabinet and translite artwork look really nice in person.

Jaws will bite your ass up. I love the Jaws layout on premium model and feel the lack of upper playfield on the pro is not best for home. That and the rising boat and appearance of shark head missing in the pro cannot be understated. That is cool and I miss the flash. Game code is fun as it is at .85 but it should be significantly improved over the next six months.

I got this game off Craigslist because the price was really good. I am an EM guy, I must confess. I mention this because everything about this game seems high tech as heck. The one I found is basically brand new, so everything works wonderfully, which has a lot to do with my review, but man...it is so fun. The ramps alone are great, but you have to study it for a while to understand how to actually score big on this game. A quality I really appreciate, coming from a collection where scoring 1k turns on a light instead of a reel. It has so many cool nooks and crannies around the playfield that are a real delight. I have read other reviews about rules and animations and such not being great, but I have no complaints. I love it, my 9 year old LOVES it (and is oddly GOOD at it) and it feels really special to have a well designed and engaging pin in my collection. I will probably always have it as one of my few SS machines.
