Cirqus Voltaire is a game that has certainly earned its reputation. The unique layout geometry lends itself to a very fair gameplay loop, in that the main shots are directionally biased towards each flipper. This reduces the likelihood of random and unpredictable ball drains, making the game punishing but fair such that it always feels like each drain is entirely your fault. The toys and objectives are all very fun and well executed. The only item on the playfield that I feel isn't a great shot is the menagerie ball on the left. It's not intrusive to normal gameplay but it's not something I would ever shoot at intentionally.
Progression through the code is also excellent and while simple, the gameplay itself is challenging enough on its own to keep me invested. I have yet to complete the wizard mode, but it's not too easy and not unreachably difficult to get there.
There's so much I could say about how this game is absolutely one of the greats, but it would be more effective to just find a well maintained CV and give it a try. I went in fully knowledgeable of the hype and still found myself impressed. I can't wait to put in a few more games on one the next time I see one.

Junkyard is an interesting entry that just doesn't work for me. The wrecking ball is well executed and fun to interact with but the rest of the table is simply missing something. Most of the ramp shots are placed too far back to feel good and I don't enjoy the video modes, which are encountered more frequently than I find enjoyable. Junkyard is missing the flow and good feeling shots of other Williams offerings.
The theme is interesting concept wise and I think it's executed well, however the artwork isn't great and the entire experience feels disjointed at times. I think a junkyard theme could have had a lot more cool toys and shots, but based on the development cycle of this table it's understandable why this was the result.
Overall whenever I encounter a Junkyard in the wild I'll usually give it at least a game or two, but I have yet to find myself wanting "just one more". It's not a lastable game in my eyes, despite this it still has its merits and there is fun to be had with Junkyard.

went to AYCE Gogi to play it today. I haven't been following the hype or development of this game so I basically came to it completely fresh with no expectation and was pleasantly surprised. Game is very attractive. Construction quality seems top-notch too. For a retro-style, no ramps, old-school pinball design it certainly has alot going on and plenty to shoot for. I'm glad someone is trying this as there does begin to be a similarity around the modern Sterns and this really does feel different. The magnet and the other toys are also cool. I loved when the briefcase lit up. Game also has a lot of flow and is pretty fun to shoot. Sound was very loud so I can't say much about that. Only played four or five game so can't say much about the code either. Will definitely being play again soon! :-)

Overall, Jaws has some great things going for it, but the Pro doesn't reach the heights of other Elwin Pros.

Backglass art is great - The art package on the Pro is really good.

Layout is a bit empty, although there's flow here. It plays quickly, but lacks wow-factor in the shots and angles.

The video clips and sounds are a treat. The team pulled together a lot of great assets across the Jaws catalog to keep the animations, video and sound flowing really nicely. There's some great humor here too.

Biggest feeling is one of cost-cutting. It's a solid shooter, but lacks magic like GZ Pro or even Foo Fighters. The shark kinetic ball is fine, but as recent mods have shown, it could have been implemented better.

Overall it doesn't live up to the enormous hype, but is a solid shooter and will probably pull numbers on location :)

An excellent, challenging tournament game. Good scoring/rules and fun scissor flippers.

Fun game with a fun theme! Love the shot paths on the layout as well as the toys/gimmicks that are incorporated into the gameplay. Overall this game would be a great addition to your home collection, as long as the kids will be okay with the artwork;)

I'm writing this rating based on code 99. This game is tremendously better after all of the recent code updates. Those of you who played it on earlier code versions and didn't like it should really give it another try. It's a fantastic game. Definitely a keeper for me

Huge TMNT fan growing up and still am to this day. This pinball machine definitely delivers on that 90s kids nostalgia, but something about it misses the mark. Maybe it's the LCD screen and video animations...? Overall though, this game is fun to play and extremely challenging. I can see why so many classify it as a keeper in their home, because it's really difficult to complete and will take a lot of plays and luck to accomplish. It plays fast, smooth, rewarding and punishing when missing shots!

Overall this game is okay. I would not classify it with the top ranked big hitters as the game just doesn't have that punch. It's a little anti-climatic and the layout/design is a little boring. It plays fast which is fun, but I feel like they should have packed this game with more toys and gimmicks that interact with the gameplay. I'll throw a loonie or two at this game on location, well because it's James Bond, but not sure I would own one.

When it comes to Theme integration in a pinball machine, this game has it in spades. The layout of the playfield gives the player a classic pinball playing experience with the enticement of modern rules and lighting effects with the hilarity of the The Big Lebowski movie. All the assets are here and at the end of the day if you want, you can just go bowling. Awesome game, that has you coming back for "one more game".

Had the chance to finally play this game and it lives up to the hype! Fantastic layout, challenging, fun and overall one of the most enjoyable games I've played. Chicago Gaming has nailed their 4 remakes, with Medieval Madness and Attack from Mars competing for the top spot.

For me the best BKSOR, better than Premium and LE, because I don't like the upper Playfield.

This is a classic 1990's game. I was lucky to get one in mint original condition. The game plays as fast as you want and the shots are fun. It has one of the nicest cabinet art for it's time and still looks great decades after its release. I like the sound as it comes from the early 90's and is simply period to the technology at the time. When I bought mine, the previous owner updated the factory DMD to the color. It's a nice upgrade to have and glad it was done. This game is highly sought after in this part of the country, and I'm glad I have it as I always had an eye for the game as I just like everything about it. This one will not leave my collection!

I like this game. The toys are great. It is a beautiful and well built machine. They are currently very underrated and thus a real deal in my opinion. Still learning the rules. And yes , as you have heard , some of the shots are really hard to make reliably for an average player like myself , but hopefully will force me to get better. A nice change from the rest of my stern collection.

So, I had a chance to play a pro last night and for those waiting on a pro you will be very very happy! I loved how it shoots. I wouldn't say it shoots "easy", but it is not punishing at all and it is a blast to shoot The shot that delivers the ball to the upper play field on prem and LE is the hardest, but only because you really need full speed to climb the ramp and when you do it feels like an accomplishment every time. The first couple of times, it didnt quite make it and dropped onto the right habitrail and, although I had read that it does that, it was like wtf, for a couple of seconds and then, Ok i have another shot at it...very cool!!
As well, when I was shooting from the smaller play field flipper on the right to the sonar targets quite few time the ball bounced right back to that channel behind the pop bumper dropping back on the flipper for another shot, I liked that very much.

I am not versed on the code (at all) and at first was kinda lost simply shooting for blinking lights, but it starts to come together - I think this will be a perfect pin for home use and people will be motivated to do a deep dive on learning the code. Considering it is early code Id rate it just behind JP and GZ, but could it be as good, maybe surpass??? ...maybe...I walked away with the 3rd high score on the game and could have played a whole lot more, but we were encouraged (rightly so) to let others get in on the frenzy!! Can't wait for my JAWS LE to come in...

Bought a premium after playing and loving the pro on location. Tmnt is a top dream theme for me, so I knew I had to own one someday. After debating between the pro/premium I can say that either option is great. Being it’s a top theme personally however, I went premium for all the gimmicks and bolted it to the floor.

Pros- Art is spot on. I prefer the cabinet and back glass of the premium personally, but all renditions were nailed by ZY. Layout has a ton of shots. Probably the most of any of my games. When you hit any of the main shots, it’s so smooth that the ball just zings around so dang fast. Sounds are great. The voice work is terrific and really good for amateur voice actors. Very well done. The code has a ton to do, but can be a bit overwhelming. So many ways to play this thing, which is great, but also some more intricate rules that only experienced players will understand. The toys are cool, yet nothing that you would really miss owning a pro imo. The van lock is really cool, but honestly the spinning disc with a magnet is even better and that’s on the pro as well.

Cons- I’d have to say it’s just too fast. It makes it challenging, which I like, but it could have been a bit slower and easier for the general public, especially given the theme. Other gripes I have is the overall quality of the machine. The playfield doesn’t have alignment mounts from the factory, and so the playfield can shift a quarter inch or so and the plunger can hit the ball properly. I had to order the alignment mounts to hopefully fix this. Last complaint is the shaker from stern. My god it’s going to destroy me he machine it’s so intense. Don’t know if that’s a code issue or just the shaker from stern. I would recommend a shaker from pinball life instead to see if it’s less intense.

Overall, this game is a blast. After getting some time on it, I’m understanding the rules better and it really has a ton of ways to play it. I sold my favorite game Metallica for his, and wasn’t sure it was a wise choice at first, but now I’m glad I did. Metallica got repetitive, and this one, with the theme, rules, and challenge will be a forever keeper. Also, the alternate game modes are a blast that really add to the longevity. Get one. Either pro or premium. Premiums are currently discounted down to nearly pro prices, so it helps deciding.

CFTBL is currently my favorite pinball machine, so much so that it's difficult to find a place to start. The layout is uniquely dense with several extremely satisfying shots and a good bit of challenge to go along with it. The center shot to the top is repeatable and satisfying to hit, and the snackbar scoop is risky but rewarding. Overall the layout is technically challenging while remaining satisfying and repeatable to shoot.
The ruleset and qualifying multiball really elevates this game beyond just its layout. Distinct tasks that must be accomplished to light F-I-L-M require the use of every corner of the playfield, as opposed to other games where multiball starts are accomplished with few targets and simple, obvious shots. Being the most lucrative mode in the game it is heavily incentivized to go for the challenge, and the integration with the theme is fantastic. The separate search and rescue phases require you to be extremely mindful of ball control and where your shots are, and successfully earning the jackpot is a satisfying challenge. I also really like the mode restart offered at the snack bar, it keeps things from being too punishing.
The theme is my favorite integration offered in a pinball machine thus far. CFTBL expands its reach beyond just the monster and the movie, encompassing the experience of a drive in theatre. The lagoon and hologram is an extremely cool gimmick and is the cherry on top of the theme integration. The expression of the theme is absolutely brilliant with iconic callouts, fantastic DMD animations, and great looking artwork. "Move your car!" has to be one of the most recognizable sounds in all of pinball. The music is also really solid, with the cover of "Red River Rock" being my outstanding favorite.
Overall there are few if any things I would change about this machine. It will likely be my favorite for a long time, and I hope to own one someday.

A lot of people dog on this game, but I personally really enjoy the fan layout and the fact that the rules are easily understood. The ability to keep building your level is helpful for us non-superstar players. It has a good amount of toys and diverters, which keeps the game interesting and the ball lock mechanisms keep the speed up on this game.

This game is a must have for fans of the movie and a great pin to shoot . Shots are well thought out although some are tight . Very good use of theme and a world under glass . The topper looks amazing in person . Playfield art well done . Code seems to be good so far and fairly easy to follow . Flippers are strong and slings too . Getting very good reviews from our customers . Amazing achievement as a first pinball machine by Barrels of Fun . I’ll be buying again from them for sure . Great service and didn’t ask me to pay until shipment which was prompt .

Much like others have said here, big ben is a very open and sparsely populated game. The large drop targets are satisfying to hit and the top left rollovers are fun, but other than that there really isn't much going on here. I'd argue the game isn't "slow" depending on how it's set up - just not a lot to shoot at. The outlanes are massive and it's not uncommon to lose the ball after one flip. It's a machine that punishes random shots not by nature of an engaging design, rather there just isn't anything to hit unless you're shooting accurately. A fun game to play once in a while but not one that I would likely own.
