The upper sling shot on left is too brutal, otherwise excelent pin!

I am new to pinball, and this is only the second machine that I have owned, but I cannot get enough of it. It is lightning fast and very easy to make a mistake that leads to draining, but strategic use of multiball can help overcome the brutality. The music is amazing, and despite the very simple ruleset, this game keeps me coming back for more.

I recently played the TMNT pro pinball machine as a local establishment. I will say while I enjoyed the overall game play and playfield layout the pizza spinner in the middle of the machine made for some interesting redirections. Overall, I really liked the pizza spinner as that made the gameplay even more difficult but had a hard time really grasping the overall ruleset and scoring logic. Was able to start many different modes such as window shopping, night of the mousers, see you on the other side ray, concrete jungle, and pizza-o-meter with relative ease but completing any of these modes really provided some very precise sharpshooting gameplay. This pinball machine would make anyone a better trap and shoot player as many of the turtle training and mode shots have a high degree of difficulty.

I got a 100% working Dogies and it is has fun as frustrating sometimes. The Mushroom Bumpers located on different corners of the PF are a nice alternative to stand or drop targets, especially when you have understood how they control the various gates and features of the PF. The 2 top mushrooms open the devil canyon gate, that saves the ball when you enter the Canyon after having hit one of the lowest right or Left mushroom which change the canyon gate layout. The middle down mushroom action the zipper so you can t lost the ball in the middle until you hit another mushroom and so on. Funnily, when the zipper is on, the canyon is very hard to get, while sneaky Joe is an easier shot !. If you execute the mushroom and gates (canyon and Sneaky Joe) in the right order, getting a free play on cactus juice is made easy, (note some machines had an Add-A Ball kit option instead so the cactus juice gave an EB instead of a Free Play.). Reversely, if you miss the top mushrooms and visit the canyon, your ball is very likely to be drained down the hole on the left line which is super frustrating.
Finally if you compare the mechanical engineering and quality of these Bally pinball machines from the late 60s, they are superior to the Williams from the mid 70s.

Game of Thrones is a great pinball machine.

The layout is very nice and the flow is quite nice, especially on the left ramp. In terms of toys the Premium version is better than the Pro as a result of the interactive throne and mini-playfield. Although the mini-playfield is in my opinion interrupting the flow of the game. The sword on the ramp, the battering ram and the dragon with the kickback are very good toys on all versions.

In terms of gameplay I prefer the Pro version over the Premium as a result of not having the mini-playfield's interruption of flow. I love playing this game and playing through the ruleset is a lot of fun. The Blackwater Multiball is very enjoyable too, just like Winter is Coming.

The artwork is alright. The playfield looks about average and the animations aren't that good since there are mostly scenes from the series they used.

All in all, this is a fun game with an interesting set of rules. I think the game will most likely appeal to more casual players and of course fans of the series.

I've played this quite a lot on location.

It is a very fast and thrilling game, with long ball-times (which make it cheap to play on location). The layout is a masterpiece, everything is so well-designed that shots from every direction feel like they can flow (purposely-desgined) into another thing, I love it. The toys are cool as well, I like the magna-grab and the bridge a lot. The building is also cool, but impacts gameplay less. The mecha-godzilla is also awesome, but the magnet was broken so I could not experience that.

My only (slight) negative with this game is the rules. It is, for my taste, just too complicated. I have played this game at least 30 times, and I still do not know what I am doing. The simple things (mecha godzilla, battles, locks, jetfighter mode) make sense, but the grander scheme is incomprehensible without a long tutorial. Why do I need to change cities? Powerlines, tanks, huh? What are tailwhips? I mean, the rules are probably really cool for at home play, but I like them a bit more comprehensible than this.

The art package is also really good, and the call-outs are awesome (I love the cheesy style). Overall a great modern game.

Got to play 10 games on a Pro and all I can say is wow. Looks amazing in person - seeing it on streams/videos doesn’t do it justice. It really looks great. And it plays amazing. The shots are great. So much fun. You want to just keep playing it. It feels like there’s so much to do and the code is only at 0.83. Can’t imagine how it will be when it’s 1.0. Going to be a great one in my opinion.

I knew I'd like this game but I didn't know how much I would love it. It can be a difficult one to understand because it follows a linear path of challenges. You have to do a trick as each magician to impress the crowd in the magic universe. Each magician has 3 tricks and each thing you're supposed to do is called out and indicated on the field. It's a game far before its time. It's more like modern games than it is like the other pins of the time.

The levitating ball and magnet wand are some of the greatest pinball toys I've seen. They literally are magic tricks. The lighting and effects make the machine feel alive and the warmth of the machine is really enjoyable while also not over burning the incandescent to cause a insert damage. Even the backbox has cool lighting effects.

The magic tricks are always cool and the shots look very easy but they are tough to hit. When you find the flow and patters the game really does flow perfectly and can get extremely fast. Sometimes you just feel crushed trying to hit one shot so it's one of those games that really has to click to get a good score and keep going. Luckily it has a continue option so you can keep going if you fail.

This has a really fun orbit that is really satisfying. The skill shot is always a fun challenge and the way it goes right from shooter to orbit is a really energizing way of getting it into play. There is a lot of back and forth flow without crisscrossing ramps. The gameplay is really unlike anything else I've tried so far. I'm glad I picked this one up because there are few locations to play this game and I love it. It's not going to be everyone's thing because it's not super deep and it has linear progression but if you like a pin that just plays different this is a great one.

My only negatives are the backglass feels a little empty and old and the playfield while really nice art design, is a little bit lacking. The game rules can be kind of a secret and often things are on a timer and the game doesn't give you a hurry up for it. Some things have a hurry and others don't but almost everything is on a timer or resets if you drain the ball. It's not easy to understand how to go about getting a high score or doing well.

That said, the game will tell you which shots to make and indicate it well. If you hold the ball it will remind you of where the shot goes. I really liked that feature. If you're unsure of what to do sometimes it tells you quite literally on the DMD. Also a color DMD is an amazing upgrade to this machine.

Fun and hard game, rules are a little confusing. The IP is the best, who doesn’t like Weird!? Really want to love P3, but they are a little heavy and hard to move. Working on them is not fun and balls getting stuck is a drag.

There is more to do here than just bash the castle all the time, but that's where most of the points and the fun are. The "exploding" castle is one of the best toys in pinball and never gets old. While I prefer the deeper rulesets of modern games, there's nothing wrong with having a game that's just good old-fashioned bashing with rules that even a beginner understands. The humor of the callouts sets it apart too; pinball shouldn't take itself too seriously and Medieval Madness doesn't. A timeless classic.

Ok, have had this Venom since it came out. First machine to buy for home? No. To add to a line up of EM’s 80’s, 90’s and moderns then I say yes. It’s a game that is super fast and gets you on high alert. Quick and frustrating, but also very rewarding once you get into a rhythm. Not the game you want to play if you’re in a Simpsons Pinball Party mood.

Out of the box I was bricking everything and was calling it. But after flipper angle adjustment (like Deadpool angles), pitch adjustments (7 deg or so) it is a super exciting game. Having the progress mode via IC is necessary and very neat option for pinball. Now my college age kiddo loves this machine because of the fast pace rapid fire video game shoot em up type of feel. Get the bad guy and fight him type of pinball.

Cabinet, playfield and artwork are stunning. The music is spot on mix of heavy rock and modern. Theme is good but definitely to a comic book audience. Fun is there for sure! Put it this way it will definitely improve your pinball skill having this bad boy in your collection!

Have has a premium for over 6 months and it does have staying power. In no rush to move anytime soon. Premium has crossbow action so that is pretty fun. Learning the rule set and I can see how competitive players do enjoy this game. Lighting is a good attempt but all cool white inserts with Red/white effects are for sure just meh. Just have to understand the timeframe when this came out and what Stern was trying for. Premium back glass is Yuck so that is the 1st thing that went.

I like to improve my pins so Color DMD was added although with all the Red going on the factory stern actually is pretty good. I changed all the GI to warm white or sunlight and left all the inserts alone. Toys and stuff are fun but I do the minimum if at all.
Overall staying power for sure and I think you will agree. I do enjoy that tilt warning sound! Gets your attention.

I'll echo many of the other comments. The game is brutal because everything is so close to the flippers that any bricked shot can lead to a quick drain. It plays extremely fast; there's never any letup except when loading the catapult or when the ball trickles down from the upper to the lower playfield. I think this is the source of the disagreement about whether the upper playfield improves the game or makes it worse. Personally I prefer having the upper playfield because without it the game plays too fast. Speed is good but I like a chance to take a breath every once in awhile. It takes away from the flow, but in this case that's a feature rather than a bug. Your mileage may vary.

On location the game can be frustrating because the games go so fast that you wonder whether you got good value for your money, even when your score is pretty respectable. I wouldn't mind if the game was slightly slower and lasted a little longer.

The art, callouts and animations are first-rate and the topper is one of the best ever made. I like the use of the heavy metal music--it fits right in with the fast, relentless feel of the gameplay--but it gets repetitive after awhile. Overall it's a terrific game despite its flaws.

The Deadpool (Pro) machine I played was excellent. I really enjoyed the playfield layout, and all the shots were satisfying but at the same time difficult to master. The Lil Deadpool multiball as well as the Ninja sword handle lock multiball were super fun to play and I found myself chuckling and watching the screen (instead of watching the ball on the playfield).

It’s not much to look at in my opinion……
But damn is it a fun game!
I have the privilege of running the pinball palace w my dad in Brunswick ga
There are roughly 50-60 machines that fit in our front most 2 rooms and, as I am working and have to stay
Within sight of our check in counter, these are the games I wind up spending the most time with out of our near (rapidly approaching) 200 total machines….. and I admit it’s not the most enticing or exciting game flanked by all the Latest Stern Jjp LEs and top B/Ws golden age classics…..
BUT DAMN IS IT FUN!! The replayability is thru the roof we have had this game since we were still in the garage tinkering w our 20ish machine collection when we got this game almost 10 years ago and I still play it regularly to this day. It’s one of the select few that I always find myself coming back to after whatever the newest hotness has become stale. For me it nearly rivals MM & AFM in that aspect. Not the art. Not the slapdash afterthought-edness of the theming, albeit well executed… nothing about it Screams sopranos in function. Could have just as easily been a JAWS, or “Journey” or [insert whatever art packaging u like] game.
WHAT DOES keep u coming back, are the extremely well designed rules and TIMELESS layout of the PF both in perfect cahoots w each other. Add to it one of the easiest to identify (difficult to execute) objectives and progressions toward the wizard modes and MWWWWAAHHH! Will absolutely hold its own with the best of em on the test of time!!

first 100 games played; i am very surprised. absolutely not my theme, but the game is really great. i understand why some guys rated a 10. game is very different to previous stern games. this is more an adrenalin game; fast& furious. main ruleset is understandable; but a lot of surprises inclusive. i think this game is for fans of FF, Rush,... what means, not a big adventure like GZ or JP; but very great shots, fast (but not drainy), and very flowy; and actually(!), very deep ruleset; for me nearly a little bit too deep;) but i love it!

Played LE in friends collection. We found ourselves gravitating away from the constant same songs playing over and over…this is the bane of music pins. Eventually we abandoned this pin to play WMS IJ and MM.

Classics are classics for a reason.

I revisited a month later it felt decent, nothing to ‘immerse’ me into with the Foo, great band but so are 100’s of others. Owner sold it a week later with 400 plays on it. Hoping new owner finds it thrilling and keeps it longer.

I’m not gonna sugar coat this. This title had overpromised, mediocre delivered, and without an actual FINISHED PRODUCT via code, is considered abandoned by JJP. Nobody wanted this title until JJP stopped producing them.

Overpriced…a lot. Fun factor? No Depp, start multiball, rinse, repeat.

Art is great, cutscenes and music are great. No immersion with constantly changing modes. Swing and a miss.

In some respects it's unfair to compare a game that came out in 1979 to a modern game. But what else am I supposed to do? I didn't play the game in 1979; I played it now. Whether it was a good game for its time I don't know (I didn't play pinball then), but it's not a good game to play now. In fact it's a bad game to play now. That doesn't mean I can't appreciate aspects of a game that were innovations for its day, but in this case I don't see any. To me this game has below average art at best, a very boring playfield layout and feels extremely floaty to play. The theme is fine but there's really nothing about the play of the game that couldn't be easily fitted into any other theme they might have used. If you collect Star Trek stuff you might want this pin, but I can't think of any other reason to play it.

This pinball machine would deserve to be n1 next to the Godzilla
The quality is to be compared with the Williams years and the game play is just fantastic
One key point of this machine is the quality of the music! Just excellent so surely no pinsound!!

Some likes it others don’t. Much slower than a ToM the TZ is however very addictive While moving forward with the missions. 15 plus a final one!! One of the most complete and performant Williams. The game play Could be compared to the Addams Family even if I prefer the TZ ( but the AF for its theme ! ).

The new Elvira ( Stern ) is very beautiful but I prefer the atmosphere of this one. Very funny game play and probably a under estimated pinball machine. Not very difficult game play so some gamers will prefer the new but much more expensive version
The sound is great and the expressions very funny

The best Stern no doubt about it
Great gameplay and deserves to be n1!
So many possible missions and still you keep addicted !!
And the premium is really worth the money VS the Limited edition ( more for collectors )
