Fantastic pinball machine. Popadiuk is a genius. The ToM and the Totan are also fantatstic machines. Out of the 3, the CV is my favorite. The atmosphere is crazy ( really like in a circus or Fancy fair !!! ). Missions are easy to understand but the game like the ToM is not that easy to finish. And the more I play the more I want to go on and on . So terrific but some people won’t like the theme

SUCH a fun game filled with action and humor. I owned the pro and the premium. Super unique layout and shots. Extremely fun to shoot. The music gets you going and humor is fantastic especially when playing at home with others. Love this game and may own one again. I know why so many say "this is a keeper"

Most of us agree that sterns JP is just an incredible game. If it were made with full movie assets it would have been an absolute 10 for me. Non-stop fun to play. I owned it for about a year and could easily own one again.

Pros
T-Rex toy is a blast
AMAZING shots of all levels
Layout is perfection
Very addictive gameplay

Cons
No real movie assets
Lighting effects could be a little more imo
The jeep toy just looks cheap to me though it works well
Art is fine for what it is but, kinda boring at the same time.

She's the longest I have ever kept a pin. Currently she's now my second favorite game ever after Elton (this just changed for me)
I bought the original LE and it was delivered on day one. I did sell that one last spring and now have the BRK edition. EHOH is one of the best complete packages you'll ever find in pinball. She really has it all. Satisfying but, not groundbreaking shots. She has the interactive house, crate, cypt mechs. She has flow, humor, speed, and a super campy theme that always works just like her past games.

PROs:
Layout
Satisfying shots
Excellent use of video and animations
music changes
amazing and challenging code but, not too frustrating
HUMOR galore
fanastic art no matter which model you choose
great replay values here
Love the thunder/lightening effects

Cons:

Lighting could be better but it's not bad at all.
Videos can get old but, you an flip through them if you wish.
Long ball times to get deeper into the game but, worth it.
Only 2 flippers but, still has plenty to offer.

Have not had this game but a day or 2. But definitely a great game

As I play this game more the more I like it... it is a challenge but all good . Great game for a "double flipper" of advanced

Turtles is a great sleeper game. Yea it can be frustrating until you learn the shots but once you learn them the game just flows, especially the prem/LE level! While it may not seem like the changes make much difference having had 4 pros before and now a Prem/LE layout it really is a noticeable difference to the enjoyment of the game. Theme is top tier for me and while the call outs are good they can be a little corny but thats not a deal breaker at all. Modes are fun and the training aspect and different turtle perks really make alot of different ways to approach this one.

80’s gem with sci-fi theme. Very fun. Would like to own one.

Pro version feels incredibly lacking and stripped down, there is really no wow factor while playing through the modes, and seeing the shark at all times loses the element of surprise. The shots and lanes feel fun and fast, and are all satisfying to hit.

There is a massive library of clips from the movie to be found here, but it relies on them too much and many of them are too long, or are unskippable, slowing the game down a lot.

Art package is outstanding, the Pro has easily the best backglass. A lot of people knocked the playfield art upon release but I think it’s really nice. A little goofy but the blue sea is nice and a certain style that I find attractive.

Having a rough time in the early going to make the tiny right flipper feel accurate and fun; its biggest appeal is being able to hold up and lock a ball during multiball.

Game modes are varied, and compelling to move through so far. Yet to see what deep game looks like. Without the upper playfield that the premium has, shots move quick and speed through lanes. The right spinner loop is really neat and unique, spitting the ball back out in a cool way.

I have a feeling that this table has the right sort of appeal to put a machine everywhere, could be an instant classic. Not necessarily the most compelling machine for me with its current code. But this is definitely the most stripped down pro since Led Zepplin, and that hurts my overall opinion.

Overall enjoyed owning this game. The layout is unique and does flow much better than i expected. The center ring shot into the magnet is great. Great theme integration. Overall fun game just did not click with me like other games have. I can definitely appreciate it and may circle back to it at some point. Longer game times and a bit tough for my skill level.

The most fun game I have owned. Does a great job of immersing you into the theme. The UV kit is a must have and should have been included with the game. The left ramp that circles around and drops to the right flipper feels like butter. Hitting the Demogorgon never gets old. I am really enjoying the upgrades the premium adds to the feel/theme of the game. Overall the game play and theme just really go well together and I can't get enough. Super happy to have this title back in my lineup.

It's almost impossible not to love this pin! It still gets heavy play time even after 2 years in the collection.
Shots - The flow is second to none. Almost every shot leads to somewhere you wouldn't expect. Cheap drains are a rare occurrence. Every shot is achievable from the easier to hit right ramp, to the harder VUK to start modes (which can be frustrating sometimes).
Theme - Lets be honest, this is probably the weakest part for most people. But like it or not, they stayed remarkably faithful with a plethora of assets to work with and incorporate into the game.
Art - It's amazing! ZY is the current master of his trade. Not much more to add here :).

wrap up - There's a reason this is the highest rated pin on Pinside and continues to sell. The differences between the pro and prem are minor in my opinion. Some may disagree but you're getting a great game either way with metal ramps that give that satisfying metallic sound as the ball zips around on them (you know the sounds I'm talking about).

I may be in the minority (at least among my friends I am) but I adore this game. Generally I feel a lot of the JJ gimmick’s are tacked on nonsense, but the camera integration, moving target, playfield holograms, etc. really add a lot of charm to the experience. The theme is about as obscure as it gets (cellphones and disasters?) but it is so off the walls that I can’t help but gravitate towards it.

This is a tough review for me, because my bias against this game is incredibly high. I love the godfather franchise and understand what JJ was trying to accomplish, but I absolutely abhor this game. I know a lot of people complain about the “mushy” flippers on JJ games, but that is not usually a complaint I parrot, except on this game. It feels off to me. The progression is boring, and every time I have played this game something has gone wrong. Whether it be a switch not functioning, a toy not operating, or a ball getting stuck, there is always a problem. Home buyers beware. Please test it in the field before you take the plunge on such and expensive game.

This is easily one of my favorite pinball machines of all time. It is a wide bodied beauty, and plays incredibly well. The theming is top notch, and while I think some of the artwork is not what I would prefer. (Looking at you overly cartoony Rod Sterling), I still adore it and have grown accustomed to it. For a game released when it was the ruleset is fairly deep, and if this game ever enters my collection I could see it becoming a permanent fixture in it. Newbies beware though, it can be brutal if you don’t know what to expect.

I really enjoy Attack From Mars, and I absolutely understand why it is held in such high esteem. I play it most opportunities I get (about once every 2 weeks) but if I was to own it I could see myself growing bored of it. It is an amazing example of what a pinball machine should be, especially for beginners, but the ruleset is not very deep, and if you are competent enough it can become tedious. However if you have not played it or have played it seldomly I cannot recommend enough that you feed it a few quarters next chance you get.

I am somehow influenced by the movie that I really find very boring but it just doesn't do it for me. Despite some good toys, I really get bored with that games and one of my less favorite of all recent stern.

Took possession of my Pro this morning. I have about 20 games on it so far. I think it shoots the best of all the Elwin games. My game has no problems with the wave ramp bricking contrary to some videos I have seen. The 180 ramp on my J.P pro bricks quite a bit compared to other Elwin games. It's definitely a keeper. Will not be going anywhere. I find it shoots much better than the premium (by a long shot) I initially put a deposit down for an LE and was over the moon happy when my distributer let me move it to a pro after playing both examples of the game. There is just not enough extra meat on the bone for the extra cost of the premium or LE considering the underwhelming shark mech on them. The upper playfield is also kinda meh compared to other examples of great upper playfield( shadow, POTCJJP, even Halloween and WOZ are better examples of enjoyable upper playfields in comparison). Stranger things allows you to get it in the demogorgans mouth as well as shakes violently when it is hit. Jaws is great but save the extra cash and buy the pro. I really find they immersed the theme well(but not spectacularly enough on the other two versions). If you enjoy the movie you will really like the pin.

I'm pretty underwhelmed by this game.

The layout is quite disappointing as it is almost devoid of any flow. On top of that, I find that the right "rollercoaster" wire form often returns the ball wildly towards the right flipper. The only shots that I legitimately consider as good are the left rollercoaster ramp and the side ramp.

The magnet's stopping the ball above the spinner, so you can easily make the lock shot, is a neat implementation. It's been in some other games before though (e. g. Twilight Zone or Elvis).

The rules are quite interesting and probably the best about this machine. It's a real shame I cannot appreciate the rest of the game that much.

In terms of artwork, callouts and music the machine is alright but it feels subpar to a Stern of JJP game. Especially the multiball music is a bit annoying to me.

All in all, Oktoberfest is a decent game flawed by its layout. I'd rather play the Hot Wheels machine than this as that layout is much more enjoyable for me.

I’ve owned this game for about 4 months now and it still never gets old. A lot of people slept on it due to early code when it was released but now they’re missing out at .99! Such a unique playfield layout with some really cool shots and I think they nailed the theme. So many modes to complete! This is definitely a keeper for me long term. Get one today while they’re discounted!

I really enjoyed my playing experience when I first got the opportunity to play the Mandalorian Premium machine. I thought the playfield has enough variety in shots and really enjoyed the mini playfield in the upper right-hand corner of the machine. I thought the mini playfield with the full-size flippers was really a fun addition to the premium version of the machine and really enjoyed the motion on the upper playfield when my ball was waiting to start the mission. The Razor Crest multiball was pretty easy to unlock and added to my enjoyment of this machine as I played the ice spider multiball, the pirates multiball, and the jetpack multiball and each led to positive experiences with unlocking/viewing video footage from the series. I just wish I would have time to watch the footage myself on the LCD screen but maybe next time I will when I play this game again. Finally, the Grogu ball lock was also as pretty neat gimmick and the randomness of the awards seemed appropriate for this in game mechanism.

Stargate is a pin that I have wanted for a while, but the price was always just a little more than I wanted to pay for a Stargate. Well I recently found a Stargate within my price point and I'm very happy with the purchase.

I really enjoy this game, it's a simple ruleset and you will likely make it to the wizard mode with relative ease. There are a large amount of Multi-balls, which could be a bad thing. I'm looking at you JJP GNR. The number of Multi-balls in Stargate doesn't see overwhelming, because they don't last very long as the balls quickly escort themselves to the outlanes or SDTM. There isn't a ball save associated with the Multi-Balls, so when the balls leave they are gone, which is a positive because if there was a long ball save the amount of Multi-balls would feel overwhelming and become an annoyance.

The ramps are steep, but if your flippers are properly maintained they are very make able. The shots work on this pin and combos are very fun, especially the 5 way combo. This pin also has kicker targets, which add some chaos to the game.

The glider mech on this pin is great when it appears as it moves side to side and forward and really looks well executed.

You will see a lot of people bothered by the call outs, but they don't really bother me. I actually chuckle when I hear Shoot the Pyramid over and over, as I'm thinking of all the people irritated by it.

Also this pin just works, Gottlieb System 3's seem to hold up to their trouble free reputation.

If you have a chance to purchase a Stargate, don't hesitate. This is a fun pin that deserves the love it gets.
