Lighted Magnetic Hinge Covers have a magnet sheet on the back, and an electroluminescent panel (EL Panel) in the center. In addition, they are covered in outdoor grade vinyl to give a custom look.

The Lighted Magnetic Hinge Covers are custom cut to fit exactly the size of your hinge. There’s a small factory fit hole in the hinge to make room for the pivot point, so they’re calibrated to your game. They are as easy to lay on your back box hinge as placing a magnet on your refrigerator!


We have also made the electronics as easy to install as plugging into a power outlet, literally.

We offer two power adapter options to select from- both are plug and play, and easy to install. Both come with online instructions and video instructions online.

Option 1 (Marked in blue- 110V/220V) ((This product))

The first power adapter uses the 110V Service Outlet found in many North American pinball machines. The benefits of using the service outlet of your machine and Option 1 are:
-No power conflict with your game, or any other mod
-You don't have to hook up to your game's electronics
-Slightly brighter than using 12V option (~10%)
-Great for a novice!
If you have a service outlet in your machine, we strongly recommend selecting this adapter type, as it assures no voltage fluctuations from the pinball machine. This adapter comes with an included AC/DC 110/220 volt plug (US wall wart) that plugs into your pin's service outlet to provide power. However, since this outlet is always on, what makes this installation really easy and unique is that the Lighted Magnetic Hinge Covers are triggered by a light sensor! When your game is off and there are no lights on in your game, the mod is off. When your game is on, the mod senses the light and turns on. It’s that simple. Using this system pulls power before your pinball's circuits, and won't tax your pinball machine's power availability for additional modding.

Disadvantage: Must have a service outlet in your pinball machine, or be prepared to install one.


Option 2 (Marked in red- 12V) ((NOT This product))

The other power adapter option allows you to tap directly off of your game, using game-specific power adapters provided, and a voltage regulator.
-The benefit of this method is that it will allow you to hook up to any game.
-This method does not require the use of a photo-sensor, as it will automatically power your hinge covers when the game is powered on. It also does not include a US plug Wall Wart power adapter, since you will be tapping power directly from your game, so this is a great option for those without a service outlet who do not wish to opt for one.

-We’ve made sure that you would have enough wire for complete flexibility. In most games, the wire from the Lighted Magnetic Hinge Covers can go between the back box and the main body of the game. On other games, the wire can be run through an air vent on the back box or on the bottom of the game.
