This is a set custom made plastic button armor set for Stern system that do NOT have side armor/button protectors. This item protects the button area from wear and does NOT have to be permanent, there are absolutely no permanent modifications needed to install these. Simply remove the buttons, place the armor over the button hole and reattach the button. The armor sits flush against the standard rails and is held firmly in place by the button, and it’s fit with the rails. There are NO screws or adhesive needed to install these. The plastic itself is textured black plastic designed to match the color and texture of the Stern factory rails and when installed looks like the Stern full side armor at a fraction of the price, and much less installation hassle. These are approx 1.5mm thick, the same thickness of the factory rails.

These are for people that want to protect their buttons but not obscure the art at all.

Note: the clear PETG come with or without tabs. The tabs are thin semi-transparent pieces (tabs in pic are black, they have been updated to semi-clear) that adhere to the PETG and slide up under the Stern side rails without needing to remove them. I started adding them to all my regular armor because if your game is in the open where people could walk by and have loose clothes rub against the game, the "pointy" end could easily catch on the end of loose clothing.

10/16/2023 - I know have a very shiny gold that looks like it's powdercoated. this would be great for Lord of the Rings LE, Beatles gold, or any other game with gold powder coating

20240211 - metallic colors now available simulates the effect of powder coating (is NOT powder coated, but probably more durable as the color is beneath 1.5m of clear plastic)
