These are my favorite. Only just beating out the brushed version. It is very hard for me to pick one over the other. It all depends what game the are going into. Polished or brushed, they all just look and feel awesome.

WHY ARE THEY SO GREAT?
After decades of playing pinball, I have discovered the best shooter rod on the planet. The ALLURE of the SILVERBALL Shooter Rod is the one. They are slightly heavier than a standard classic Bally spiked shooter rod that we all know and love. This gives them a solid, yet familiar feel without being too heavy like a steel ball. I fabricate these and then put them on a lathe to remove any imperfections, then lathe them some more with various grits of sandpaper to get them super smooth. I then polish them to a mirror finish with a high speed buffing machine. To maintain these beauties, only wipe with a CLEAN microfiber cloth to avoid scratches. A little polish once in a while keep it shiny and maintain that SILVER BALL allure.

The SILVER BALL diameter is 1 3/8". It is mounted on a steel shooter shaft that is 7 3/4" (the exposed portion.) These shafts are Williams and Bally shafts, but can be used on Data East and Stern pinball machines as well. On a Stern (modern, not classic), they are 1/8" longer. In most cases, this is NOT an issue. In fact, it can actually benefit the game with harder hits to the ball. For example, on Iron Man, the full orbit skill shot whips around faster than with the stock shooter rod.
