Missing that switch cover and/or switch mounting plate? I designed these a while back to line up with the original holes in my Gottlieb EMs and Solid State games and also look similar to the originals. Also, for the older Gottlieb EMs that don't include a traditional power switch, I like to add wiring to a standard switch and drill a hole in the bottom of the cabinet for the install. In this case both the switch mounting plate and switch cover are needed. This cover and plate will work on many other games and home brews, but may required tapping new mounting holes.

New!! I have come across three different size and shape switches in pinball machines and now sell separate plates for each type. Most the mounting threads are 3/8 inch and some are 1/2". Some are notched and others have flat sides. The Gottlieb EMs came with the 3/8" notched plates in metal. If you are ordering my switches, you will use the "3/8" Flat Sided" plate. My switches will also fit into the original Gottlieb 3/8" notched switch; you can tighten it a tiny bit extra to keep it from rotating on the plate. See the picture below.

Switches: I have had problems finding the correct power switches. Most of the ones available are now made out of plastic and are way too easily broken. I recently found some nice metal ones and bought a few extra switches that I can now offer. These are rated at 6amps@125volts ac and look and feel like the original OEM push button switches. These should fit your original plate or one you purchase above.
