Brand New LED Displays for Classic Bally/Stern Machines! Available as a DIY Kit or Fully Assembled.
WHY UPGRADE YOUR DISPLAYS TO LED?
No restoration is complete without a brand new set of LED displays! Upgrading to LED displays in any game will breathe new life into the machine, making it feel more modern and bringing back uniformity and crispness of a matching set of displays like when the machine was new.
Think about it.. where are your eyes drawn on a machine? The backglass. The playfield. And THE DISPLAYS! Having out-gassing, half-dead displays or displays that are mismatched can be very distracting. You can move problematic displays to different player positions, but they're still there taunting in attract mode with burn spots, flickering or other noticeable differences between the displays. Why not upgrade to a new set of displays that also offer the advantage of controlling the brightness to your liking and remove any visual distractions? Better yet, if you're replacing an entire set with LED you can sell the plasma displays you pulled from the game & offset some of the costs of the upgrade. If you're a DIY'er you could nearly pay for the entire set of displays if most of your plasma displays were in salable condition.
-NO HIGH VOLTAGE!
-Low current usage. Displays play nice with the 5v regulator!
-Straight-forward assembly for DIY'ers with a soldering iron. All new parts!
-Adjustable Brightness! Set brightness to your liking!
-Available in 6-digit and 7-digit models (AMBER, BLUE or WHITE digits)
-Can be mixed with plasma displays if desired
-Decimal/Dot can be enabled or disabled on both 6-digit and 7-digit displays
PINITECH UNO LED DISPLAYS
The Pinitech UNO is a single-board design that offers a lower cost & a neat feature to allow you to shift the displays left or right to align better with the display window on the backglass. These are mounted in the same holes as the display holder and can either be mounted with the display holders still left in the machine, or with the display holders removed. Note: For this design you'll want to verify your game has some clearance around the existing display bracket mounting points in your game as the displays are slightly larger that the display brackets. To allow shifting of the displays left or right there will also need to be room along-side the brackets. Please see the pictures below for clearances at the brackets & PM if you have any additional questions!
LISTING IS FOR SETS!
6-digit Set = 5X 6-digit Displays
7-digit Set = 4X 7-digit Displays, 1X 6-digit Display (credit/match)
*If you have a game that uses one or more additional displays, please send a PM.
Don't want to solder a DIY Kit together? Plug-and-Play assembled versions of these displays are available as well!
The DIY Kit includes all components needed to build a great-looking, low-power, energy-efficient LED display. Assembly is straight-forward for anyone with basic soldering tools and experience.
Additional info on colors is below:
---BLUE, AMBER DIGIT DISPLAY---
These are native LED digits in BLUE or AMBER color -- meaning they only light up one color. Native colored LED digits are crisp and bright. You can use the dimmer to dim the displays to your liking. The AMBER is a very close match to original plasma displays.
---WHITE DIGIT DISPLAY---
WHITE digits allow the use of color filters / gels to be used that are adhered over top of the led digits to change the color of the display to any color you can imagine, and at any time you want. We offer a selection of color choices that were hand-selected & will really make your game POP! Each WHITE display includes one filter of your choosing. If you're purchasing a display with WHITE digits you will be PM'd for color choice. Color choices include RED, BLUE, GREEN, PLASMA AMBER, YELLOW, PURPLE, NEUTRAL/GRAY, MAGENTA.
