Item description

Comes as shown, includes extra parts and an original manual.

I've spent a good amount of time going through this and changing out bulbs (Comet 2SMD throughout), replacing target blades with new translucent ones (I left the 1-6 white targets in the center as the original white as requested by the last person who wanted to buy, but I had originally planned on installing green blades), polishing beacons, and adjusting various things.

This one is mostly ready to go aside from tweaking the spinner. It continues to give me problems (not uncommon for F-14) and isnt adjusted quite right. It registers the contact when I touch leafs together from under the playfield, I just can't get it set up right to actually properly register during gameplay. Remote battery is already installed so that does not have to be worried about.

Cab condition is NOT the greatest, by a long shot, but is fine for just about anyone who isn't obsessed with them being perfect. The most noticeable areas could easily be touched up with some filler and black paint.

The game plays well and is a ton of fun. I'm just making room in my lineup. The only real issue, aside from the poorly adjusted spinner, is that the test menu buttons aren't working correctly. In order to configure the settings the batteries have to be pulled to get to initial configuration. Otherwise the menu is jumping straight into display test. The R34 resistor definitely needs replaced, along with its IC. That will hopefully restore proper menu function. That shouldn't cost more than a couple bucks to accomplish.

That said, it's usually around $200 (shipping included) to have the boards all completely refurbished and I would certainly recommend that. Anything pre-1990 is overdue at this point. I would be willing to facilitate having the boards serviced prior to sale (I'll pull them, ship them, and reinstall, free of charge) if the buyer wants to do that and is willing to put down a deposit for the work / to show their intent to purchase.
