Condition: As new - New out of box (first owner)
$ 6,900
I purchased this new in Oct'19. Includes the Julie Newmar signed topps card. Only mods are a shaker and a slightly stronger shooter spring. I have spent quite a bit of time fine tuning the game to take the factory clunk out of it. It looks and plays like new.
The cabinet is perfect. There isn't as much as a smudge to be found. I had forgotten how amazing the cab art was until I rolled it out of the lineup to take these pictures. I did not use any color correction or filters on the cab pics. That is how vibrant the colors really are.
The playfield looks fantastic with no noticeable wear. I added mylar to the shooter lane ball eject area on day 1. This title and manf date range has the potential for clear coat pooling issues. When I unboxed the game, I removed the posts and examined the PF closely with a flashlight and magnifying lense. I could see the posts had left indents in the CC, but pooling hadn't started. I 3D printed my own protective washers out of TPU (rubber like plastic) and added them to all slingshot posts (see pics). This should prevent any future pooling or chipping. The only minor issue is a small crack in the plastic in the back right corner of the game (see pic). This is how it came from the factory and Stern did send a replacement which is included (see pic). It can't be seen unless you are standing right over top of it at the back of the machine, so I haven't bothered to replace it. My preference was to keep the new piece for a spare.
This is a special game, but unfortunately I found a perfect HUO LOTR and am now one game over my allotted space. It's a tough call to make, but Batman is the newest game in my lineup which makes it lowest on the totem pole so it needs to move out. Feel free to ask any questions or request additional pictures of something you need more detail on. I have a covered trailer and could potentially work with the buyer on local transportation.
