Soooooooper noice Mario Andretti!

Matching serial number boards, even the DMD is original so you know it's a low-use machine. Excellent cabinet with minor blemishes. Small flipper scrapes at the typical Gottlieb area where the mylar ends.

I think if I were to write a history of Gottlieb, I would call it "Where The Mylar Ends".

The rest of the playfield is like superfreakinfantastic! No lie, it's mylared and the mylar is in excellent shape. The plastics and ramps are all good. I even replaced some chipped targets after the photos were taken to get it nare I say closer to "collector quality".

The game is 100% plug and play save for a stray bulb I may have missed. It's "shopped" in the loosiest loosey goose of terms, meaning that I changed burned bulbs. I did put LEDs in the pop-bumpers as Gottlieb in their later years thought it would be a good idea to make the operator have to take half the playfield apart to access the bumper lamps which BTW always blow out, especially when Gottlieb likes to run flasher voltage through a #44, just like they used to run stepped-down coil voltage through #44's on the old EM games. "Gee, why are these light bulbs always black or burned out?". Anyway, I actually LOVE Gottlieb System 3 games as they are pretty bulletproof once you work out their minor kinks. Far fewer weak points on a Gottlieb System 3 than on a WPC, Data East or Whitestar game.

Anywhoo... I checked all the lamps, all the switches, all the solenoids, have played the game numerous times. Flippers are super strong. I wiped down the playfield areas that are easily accessible (I just had to look up how to spell that word). Could this game benefit from a better tear-down detailed cleaning? Yes daddy! How about some new rubber? Sure thing kid! Why didn't I just do it?

I'm old and tired of taking apart pinball machines. Well, I'm not that old, but I feel old from staying bent over a pinball playfield for 16-hours at a time. It takes at least a day and a half to do it right, even if you know what you're doing. I've lost too many hours of my life to taking apart pinball machines and putting them back together. My back can't take it anymore. I'm trying yoga and Wim Hof!

Anyways, ideally I'd like to trade for one of my favorite pinball machines for my long-term keeper collection. We can make up differences in values with cash, frequent flyer miles, vape cartidges, yadda, yadda, whatevs as the kids say. My tastes are eclectic and I'm not kidding when I say that Street Fighter and Hollywood Heat are higher priority than an AFM on my list...

Jacks Open
Royal Flush
Count-Down
Alien Poker
Black Knight
Eight Ball
Eight Ball Champ
Hollywood Heat
Banzai Run
Funhouse
Title Fight
Cactus Jacks
Surf N Safari
Street Fighter
Cue Ball Wizard
Theatre of Magic

Or I could also use a RANE 72 DJ mixer with a pair of RANE 12 controllers. No joke, I'm an 80's dude and used to be a scratch DJ back in the day! Just got back into it and the new equipment is amazing. I'm rocking a Roland DJ-808 right now but I need to see them platters spinnin son! All the music is FREE now! It's an amazing time to be a DJ. I'm spinning more than playing pinball lately! I'ma go rip up a new remix on my new favorite song "Dance Monkey".

You may wonder... is this dude insane? What kind of a sale/trade listing is this?

Word word, 20 years of polishing swirl marks and replacing battery holders will drive you insane. That's why I needed to step back. I love pinball again!

Thanks for listening.
