Condition: Used - shows wear, needs some work
$ 1,700 (OBO)

Very nice cosmetics 1981 Bally Flash Gordon in semi working condition.
Pros:
Original MPU with battery - boots and game plays with sound and speech
All score displays bright with no missing segments
Day one mylar on lower and upper playfield (edges lifting and trimmed near pops)
Strobe lamp board intact
New playfield glass
Backglass very nice with no lifting but a few scratches on backside
Cons:
Needs full playfield shop
Controlled lamps on playfield and backbox "FLASH GORDON" lamps do not work
Strobe does not flash (bulb and caps need replaced)
Missing upper left arch plastic
2 broken drop targets (all need replaced)
Outside face of backbox light board repainted white
Inside edges of cabinet and front trim on backbox repainted red
Tens digit of CREDIT section of the BALL/CREDIT display has burned segment
Typical wear in upper playfield shooter lane before top single drop target
I believe an Altek MPU would solve the controlled lamp issue but I don't have one to confirm or it could be the Lamp Driver board.
$ 1700 OBO. Local pickup at my home. I will work with your shipper but buyer pays all costs and makes all arrangements.
