Item description

Up for sale is my HUO Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast (Limited Edition) #285 Stern pinball machine. Everything works as expected and, aside from needing an adjustment to the inconsistent loop from plunge (a common problem with potential fixes described in the forums), the mechs and toys work perfectly.

Cosmetically, there is a set of very tiny kinks on part of the right-side of the cabinet body (just to the bottom left of the pilot Eddie) from accidentally brushing it against a wall when I moved the machine recently. These kinks are not very noticeable, especially from a distance, but it's still worth mentioning in this post. However, there's some very notable horizontal scratches on the lock-down bar (as seen in the images). I don't remember how these scratches came to be, but they're definitely noticeable.

In terms of modifications, I replaced the lower playfield LEDs with purple Frosted Dome 1SMDs and installed titan rubbers on the flippers. I also have a 25c black/white price card in the machine (as seen in the photos). Essentially, I treat my pin as a piggy bank and force myself to put a quarter per play, so I printed out these price cards to reflect that. This forces me to "raise" money to help pay for accessories, mods, or anything maintenance related. It also keeps me from playing the machine too much, so it has fairly low plays...

Lastly, I'm selling the pin only to make room in the new place I moved into. The machine just takes up more space than I used to have (about 1/3rd of otherwise free space). I think the price is reasonable, but it's pick-up preferred and I'm not considering trades.

I haven't looked into shipping a pinball machine before, but there's a chance I might consider it if a reputable buyer is interested.
