Own a piece of Pinball history! Once considered the games that killed pinball, the Pinball 2000 titles have always maintained a solid fan following which has only increased in size as the years have passed. This is an ad for a package deal on both titles in the Pinball 2000 line: Revenge from Mars and Star Wars Episode I. Both machines are solid examples of their respective titles and are in rock solid player's condition. I will not split the set, but am open to trade offers or preferably to sell outright to fund the purchase of another pin so make an offer!
Both of these machines have been mostly shopped - the hard work has been done. The computers have been gone through and have had their power supplies replaced, cpu fan replaced, and ram upgraded to improve video speed. Both CRT monitors look bright and crisp and I have installed the Ultimarc Video Amplifier on both machines - it really makes a huge difference.
videos and more pictures can be seen here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-VZHXNdcAybfNV-fqvop2pYM6cDDX6Rf
Here are a break down of what has been done to each machine:
RFM:
-Updated to the latest community code 2.2 This really makes this a totally different experience. Search Revenge from Mars 2.0 on MyPinballs to see a list of the improvements made to this game. Really a stellar job.
-New leg plates and leg bolts
-New various cabinet locks
-New switches for any errors that could not be resolved
-Full led conversion (done before I got the machine. Pin 2000's are the only machines I would keep the old style bulbs in)
-Wells Garden monitor replacement
-Rebuilt Martian mechs
-New service serial cable
-Computer updates listed above
-Video Amplifier
SWEI:
-Updated to the latest official code 1.4
-New various switches that could not be resolved
-New Various Cabinet Locks
-Replaced burnt out bulbs and flashers
-Replaced missing flasher socket and rebuilt missing flasher circuits
-Computer updates listed above
-Video Amplifier
The Good: Both these machines play solid and are a blast. The hard stuff has been done and these are ready to either go on route or join a private home collection. The CRT's look great and the computers should hold up for another 10 years. The cabinet on RFM looks really nice. No cracked plastics or missing toys on either machine. I also will include a commonly broken plastic replacement for RFM. Also included are the manuals for both games and the Pinball 2000 Schematics.
The Bad: They could probably use a good cleaning. The cabinet on Star Wars is a little rough and it is missing a small section of T Molding. The LED's on RFM do not draw enough current to pass the self test so they show up on the service menu as blown bulbs - they work fine just something to know. RFM is missing the coin box.
While I would prefer an outright sale (and please do not hesitate to make an offer if you do not think my price is fair) I am also open to trade offers. I am not looking for anything in particular, so let me know what you have. For transparency I do not have much cash to add to the deal, but would be willing to accept a partial trade plus cash for a single title of lower value.
I am also able to transport both Pin 2000's at the same time and would be willing to do the driving for the right deal within a reasonable radius - just please consider this in the deal. I might also be able to bring these to Pincinatti, again for the right deal.
If you PM me be sure to include your cell for faster communication. I will share mine as well. I can also get any additional pictures or videos you need.
Thanks for making it this far. Have a good one!
I can only attach one title to a “for sale” ad, so I linked each game to a separate copy of this ad. If I make a deal on the games, I will pay the fee on both ads.
