Item description

For Sale: An as found Bally Star Trek project - I picked this game up in pieces and have done nothing but reassemble, and test fire, it. Much to my surprise, it booted and played quite well! That said, this is still being sold as a project, and it should be assumed it will likely need to be gone through on a level that is a little deeper than a new set of rubbers, and a Novus wipe down. I believe it will clean up with a little TLC, and end up being a very nice example of this title.

Cabinet: Relatively nice, and surprisingly un-faded. A few dings and scratches. Minimal wear to the plywood immediately around the flippers buttons. The backbox frame around the glass needs re-painted.

Backglass: Possibly usable with copious amounts of triple-thick; however, I honestly would trash it. New, sample, replacements are available from CPR.

Playfield: Small areas are down to bare wood in the typical, and heavy traffic areas. For this particular title, the playfield wear is relatively minimal though, and most areas are solid color, which makes touch up as simple as it can get.

MPU: Old repairs are present from battery corrosion - but the LED functions, and it boots as normal.

Displays: All light and function. The six digit credit display looks like it is starting to gas out, but may come to life with some PCB work. The second player display mimics the credit display for some reason, this is a new one to me. I can Only assume this gremlin is hiding in the MPU, when you find it, please do me the favor of letting me know.

SDB: I would do caps, and rebuild the high voltage end... but it does work as is. I have not tested voltage outputs.

The original manual is there, and included. If you have any additional questions, or the desire to see additional pictures, please don't hesitate to ask.

Pickup is in Central PA, or I will work with your shipper, or can assist in getting it moved for you if you want to go that route.
