Original AFM PF

Hey everyone,

Up for sale is a used original AFM PF that I no longer need as I have completed a PF swap, December 2018.

This is not "drop in replacement" PF. This one definitely needs some work to make it ready for placement into a machine.

In January 2017, I pulled this PF out to have it given an automotive clearcoat applied. The initial process went smoothly, and the results looked outstanding. Unfortunately, after a couple months, the clearcoat began to lift, and before I knew it nearly every insert had some kind of ghosting due to the clearcoat lifting.

I have been told by some repair experts that this can be fixed, and that i the main reason I am putting it up for sale. Please know, this is a PROJECT PF.

Note: Originally, the SOL insert was 100% fine. When I received the PF back, the mylar took a small part of the SOL yellow insert, and someone tried to touch it up. Obviously, this is not a 100% perfect looking repair job - so again - please know what you are buying before committing to purchase.

There is currently clear vinyl at the pop bumper, the inlanes where the ball lands from the habit trails, and the entrance to the SOL. This can be pulled much more easily than mylar.

As the PF swap occurred, I had to use a punch to loosen up and remove some of the T-nuts from both the topside and bottomside of the PF. Some of the ones underneath the PF took some wood with them as they were popped out. I took pictures of the ones that had that took PF wood when they were popped out.

The back left corner of the bottomside of the PF had a chunk taken out of it before we even pulled the PF. That damage did not occur as a result of the swap. Picture included of that.

There is typical damage around the SOL lip as well as the drop target lip before the cliffys had been applied. Please see photos.

Again, know that this is a PROJECT PF. I cannot stress that enough. This PF is for someone ready to put the effort in to "bring it back to standard." DO NOT buy this expecting it to be a 100% perfect looking PF ready to be dropped in. You will be severely disappointed.

This price is also without shipping. I have a PF box from CPR with the appropriate packaging ready to help keep the PF safe in transport (the box my TAF PF came in). Without a destination zip code, I cannot give an estimated shipping cost. If I had to guesstimate, I'd be prepared for $50 in shipping (through USPS).

Best advice I can give is to calculate your shipping based on:

My zip code (32579) to yours.
Weight will be about 12 pounds.
Dimensions of the package are 48" x 22" x 2.5"

Hope this interests someone who has the repair skills to bring this PF back to its former glory. If it doesn't sell, no biggie. I'll mount it to the wall and make it a conversation piece.
