For sale: Kings of Steel Super Clean!

This is a super clean Bally Kings of Steel. I don't know the history of the game other than the person I bought it from took it in lieu of payment for work he had done. He said it didn't work blowing fuse F4 on the rectifier board so it sat in his garage for the past 10 years. When I got it home i found a bad cap on the sound board that was causing the short and fuse to blow. After replacing the game fired right up.

I totally went through the game and did rebuild the solenoid driver board both the 5v and high voltage sections including replacing the large filter caps. The mother board had the original battery with 0 "zero" leakage! the board is like new! (I have the original battery and can include it if you like:) I replaced the battery with a cap to hold the game settings. I also recapped the sound board and changed the rectifiers in the power board. So electronically this game is solid and will play for years to come.

I also went trough and replaced all bulbs and coil sleeves. So mechanically the game is solid and plays like it did when new!

The playfield is one of the nicest out there. All graphics are intact on the inserts with no cupping or sinking! All plastics are clean with no cracks or breaks. I replaced all the rubber and detailed all posts metal and plastic.

The cabinet is almost perfect with a small scrape on the left head. The rest is beautiful including the backside which looks new! The decals are nice and have bright colors and the back glass is as near perfect as you'll find.

Finally the displays are all nice and bright with no sign of burn or gassing.


This is really a sweet game and for being 33 years old just beautiful. The back glass is mirrored and just stunning.
