Condition: Used - shows wear, needs some work
$ 2,000
I decided to bail on my Tommy midstream -- as I want to add an Aerosmith Pro to fill the music game gap in the gameroom instead.
I polished it up and have it working pretty nice. New rubbers, new bulbs, new target foam. Polished and waxed playfield and ramps. Rebuilt all three flippers. Installed new blinders assembly ($250 expense).
Remaining issues:
1) blinders are getting power but not going out like they should (blinder board issue I guess)
2) Mirror not going up (motor works but seems gunked up). Goes down somewhat OK. Probably needs to be taken out and cleaned -- or buy new one.
3) DMD sometimes goes wonky after moving machine around, but I shake it a bit and it goes back to normal (connector?)
4) GI just went out...just connector as looking at it I see obvious browning of it.
5) Left flipper inside cabinet switch could use better adjustment.
Playfield is decent. Replaced all broken plastics. Cabinet has some areas with missing paint or chunks out (see picts).
If you want a Pinsound board installed with the original Who Tommy music running. $350 extra. I already did this and it is amazing. Sounds better than even new games. But realize some may prefer old school sound or to save money.
