Time to move this on to someone else, learned a lot on working on this, and it's super fun and my daughter's favorite machine but I'm ready to try something else...

A very nice 100% working example of Aladdin's Castle here, about 79k plays total according to the 'meter. Not museum quality but definitely on the high end of player's maybe higher.

The backglass has 3 smaller-than-a-dime spots where it has been touched up, on the title letters, otherwise backglass is perfect. It was triple-thicked before the touchup so it is easy to revert if needed.

The cabinet has typical wear from a routed game of this age. No graffiti or carvings. No chalkiness on the paint, colors are vibrant.

Cabinet hardware shows no pitting or rust, very clean.

Playfield has some minor planking and keyline wear in the normal places, see pics for details. Playfield has been waxed and cleaned and it plays very fast now, lots of fun.

Other things done...
1. Complete new rubber set
2. NOS plastics everywhere - looks sharp
3. Inserts all cleaned underneath
4. LED's placed underneath playfield, and in backbox (might still be a few incandescent here), color changing on the bumpers.
5. New incandescent bulbs everywhere else, some colored (red or green).
6. Flipper buttons/assemblies replaced with pbr parts, clear inserts added, LED light added inside so the buttons are illuminated.
7. Complete flipper rebuild on all 3 flippers, new coils (on the two main flippers, 3rd is an old swap out to correct part), springs, switches, sleeves, arms, even the flippers themselves were replaced. Massive improvement in playability from this alone.
8. All switches adjusted, most cleaned. De-oxit used on some needed areas.
9. New ball
10. Coin mechanism fixed, 100% working though set for free play now.
11. New white plastic nuts on playfield.
12. New ball guides at top of playfield.
13. Cleaned inside and out.
14. Chimes completely rebuilt, new sleeves, grommets, etc.
15. LED's in the coin receptacle windows
16. New levelers on a couple of the legs. I've got 31" legs on the back and 28" on the front. You can crank 'em up to crazy angles if you want or lower it to 70's style.

If you wanted to move this from high-end player's status to OMG it's perfect in every way there isn't much to do but there are some things that I was planning long term if I kept...
1. have the playfield professionally touched up and cleared, way out of my comfort zone to do this myself
2. repaint/stencil the cabinet
3. source a coinbox
4. Replace one of the under-playfield LED's with non-ghosting, all others are already non-ghosting I just ran out when I was restoring.
5. Needs a new lock on the lockbox, it seized up on me the other day and I had to drill it out. (as of 8/20/17) I haven't gotten around to figuring out the correct sizing to order the replacement, otherwise it's a 5 minute fix-it job at most.

Comes with keys, schematics, manual, and a bunch of parts including the complete set of great condition old plastics for spares. Come and get it or I'll make myself available for shippers of your choice as long as you handle all the arrangements.

For trades I'd be into any similar condition EM or early SS, especially if it's 4 player and/or has backbox animation. Look at my wish list for specific titles or hit me up with what you have. Particularly interested in Haunted House and/or Gorgar in excellent condition, prepping for a Halloween party here.

All the recent pictures in the pinside database of this title are from this exact machine, you can see the difference between the NOS and old plastics in the "shopped" category. There is a video of me playing it here...

Playfield closeup pic is before I shopped it but it basically looks the same now but better with the new plastics, rubber, nuts, and bulbs.

Backglass pic shows before I touched it up, previous owner had sharpied the 3 spots. I thought it looked horrible so I carefully scraped out the sharpie marks, triple-thicked it, and painted with water based acrylic back over it. Honestly I didn't do a great job of color matching though it is miles better than before, would be easy and quick to redo without any effect on the rest of the backglass if you have better color mixing skills than I do.

Other pics are from after the shopping.

I'm open to offers but please be respectful, I've already got considerably more money into this than I'm asking for. Also have an excellent El Dorado I've shopped, just ask for details on that, I'll get around to listing it soon.

Yes, I'm in Houston, yes the hurricane and floods were terrible but my house did not get flooded so rest easy on the condition of these.
