For sale: Stock Car (Gottlieb, 1970)

Up for sale is a very low production Gottlieb pinball machine. Stock car had a production run of only 350, so by pinball standards, this is one you don't see very often. It's the desirable add-a-ball version of this game so it's great for the home arcade/game room.

If you collect Gottlieb pinball machines, chances are this one you don't have. You may have its replay brother, Road Race, but it's unlikely you have Stock Car.

The game itself has been cleaned up with new lane guides, new pop bumper bodies, skirts, and caps, new rubber, new ball, new bulbs, new flippers and the playfield has been cleaned and waxed. The game is playing 100% correctly at this time as well.

The playfield is in pretty nice shape, not perfect, but very nice. The backglass has some paint loss and has had scotch tape applied to the back. The backglass is the weakest part of this game. I believe the glass has been reproduced so it is available should you want to update it. The cabinet is decent as well. The legs could be cleaned up or replaced but the levelers are new.

Overall, this is a seldom seen title that's plug and play.
