Item description

Escape from the Lost World 1988 Bally. Next to last game Bally made before they were bought by Williams.

Very unique game. I hate to part with it but need room. Only 2000 made. Only solid state pin to have silk screening on the glass for extra depth. Also has lower pf window for lava pit, and molded 3D mountains that are part of the play.

Sounds are very cool as is the body. If you like prehistoric and dinosaurs, it has an awesome body design, and makes jungle/cat/cricket/dino/drum sounds as it plays.

I put in a ton of work as a hobbyist into my machines because we love to play them. I only sell if it is time for a new one, or to make space, etc. Here is a list of what has been done to this pin, and its overall condition:

Backglass = 10
Body = 9 (original head and body decals are mostly perfect)
Playfield = 9.5 (small wear on insert decals, no bare wood or planking)
Plastics = 9 (a couple of repairs and reinforcments, and chips)
Original playfield glass still intact! not too scratched up. Artwork screened onto underside of glass is still a 9.5 (a couple of nicks - easily touched up I just didnt get to it)

Previous owner reinforced the mountain ramp and a couple of thin parts with plexi underneath. Minor touch ups performed.

I shopped the whole thing out. Cleaned leaf switches and adjusted. Flippers are strong and snappy still
- all rubbers replaced
- new bands on all flippers
- Backbox speaker (1 mono) was beat up. I replaced it with a Kenwood 2-way, and it sounds great. POT switches cleaned on the coin door, and the limiter POT on the sound board
- original lower 10" woofer still inside the body (not blown, so no need to replace)
- Custom LEDs installed throughout. Whites down below and by the flippers for brightness, super bright blues and clears alternating behind the treasure entry, orange glow on the volcano with orange and red alternating for the eruption, and a red LED flasher behind it, red/yel/org mixed under the lava window in the playfield, greens in the jungle and key inserts, etc. I left the back mountain incandescent underneath for the darker glow. Everything is tasteful, and enhances the look considerably. It has a "WoW" look and sound to it now.
- Jungle green leg protectors added
- Shooter lane and drop holes cleared
- Playfield cleaned and waxed
- Plastics and posts cleaned
- Resoldered light board as required
- All 4 displays are bright
- New levelers added to original Bally legs (in good shape)
- New white flipper buttons installed
- plastics reinforced with Mezel mods green washers, and other washers, etc.

The only thing I haven't done yet is cut off the original NICAD battery and replace it with a AA external pack. I may get to it this week, but depending on your skill level we can take care of it one way or the other.

Pin is 100% working and clean. Doesn't smell, and is ready to go. I will miss it, and it is challenging, but bring home something cool for your family to play!

I have over $1600 into this, so no lowballers please.
