This listing is for a Sega Apollo 13 pinball machine made in 1995. It is rare with only 2000 made, and known for the highest multiball mode ever made (13 ball).

I am having a hard time parting with this machine, but we need a bit of room. It was on a route for less than a year, and I am the 3rd owner. Extremely clean pin. Had so few plays on it when I bought it, the underside of the pf appeared new. No black powder even around the assemblies. I went through and took apart the entire pin, and customized the heck out of it. It is now a beauty. I had a collector from Georgia who was willing to drive overnight sigh unseen for 3k cash last month, but his offer was a bit low, and I wasn't ready to sell.

This is a collectors quality machine

I put in a ton of work as a hobbyist into my machines because we love to play them. I only sell if it is time for a new one, or to make space, etc. Here is a list of what has been done to this pin, and its overall condition:

Body - 9.5 Minor touch ups done on a few black nicks, and you can tell that it once had a route hole that was filled, and painted well. Cannot see it when looking at the front, and the original art is still intact (it was only in the black).

Playfield - 9.9 Original mylar intact, not cloudy or scratched up, no bubbling or lifting. Playfield is nearly perfect. Minor dimple on lower side of two lane rollovers at bottom. Cliffys installed proactively

Backglass - 10

Plastics - all screened (plastics with images) perfect. Clear plastics (Generic) suspended above lane guides have some screw splintering. Pop caps are great.

Models - original space shuttle, moon, and moon lander are all PERFECT. No broken tip, no damage, no dirt. Nicest I've ever seen.

- Entirely disassembled, cleaned, shopped. Switches cleaned and adjusted as needed.
- Cliffys installed proactively on lanes and for outhole (outhole not yet installed)
- Moon band tension adjusted for alignment
- Flippers rebuilt by a professional during previous owners period (I have another new set for it, just doesnt need it at all!)
- Blue super bands installed on flippers
- Blue super band posts installed throughout
- New rubbers installed throughout
- Custom LEDs installed in backglass, under playfield, and on top. This was an expensive and arduous task. I don't use kits. The BG is a miz of subtle and bright whites, blues, etc. to enhance the images. The playfield has frosted whites and blues, and 4-LED super brights all over. Underneath I used custom clear, white, super bright, blue, and colored to make each insert POP. I used Ablaze for some, and Cointaker for others. I also used the expensive Cointaker 8-LED bulbous (not flush) Flashers in the upper PF flashers (the domes), and holy c@#p don't play if you are an epileptic. This is a serious light show now.
- clear and blue protective washers added

- Authentic NASA Apollo space mission patches installed inside on either side (see pics)
- Miniature model of the Apollo 13 event installed (see inside left) purchased from the international space museum in Europe
- 1970's new Apollo13 shuttle model - installed in 3 sections for added effect into playfield (all new models are attached with self adhesive velcro pieces so they can be moved or removed if desired)
- Custom Topper made - this isn;t a tin hunk of junk from China, this was made in the USA custom on demand by a US owned company, of STEEL, and high quality screen printing. Official NASA Apollo space program sign (see pics)
- New translucent blue flipper buttons installed
- Light or dark blue (I cant decide, you pick) leg protectors installed
- Clear sticker-type flipper button protectors installed from Pinball Life
- Legs are great, and so are the levers, etc. New locks installed.
- New playfield glass installed
- Everything cleaned and waxed during shop out

All switches and functions work perfectly. The DMD is bright and has no missing pixels. No credit dots. Game has a novice mode optionally (fixed play time). It has an advanced memory mode (stores the accumulation of the BLASTOFF letters for 13 ball mb in between games). Many cool Sega menu features.

I will really miss this one. I will not budge on the price. The previous owner paid $3400 from a local pinball retailer for a stock version lightly shopped. I put over $500 into it, and countless hours. I really don't care what the going rate is on whatever website you are looking it. You cannot compare a used car to a restored collectors item that has new and improved parts added.
