For sale is a 1985 Williams "Sorcerer" pinball machine. This is a fun, family game that's easy to play for young people and can be a challenge for experienced players. A great first pin for your home.
It plays 100% perfectly: all switches, solenoids and lamps work 100%.
Color coded LED lamps have been installed throughout for a nice, bright appearance, as well as running cooler for longer life and saving electricity.
Backglass is a 9.9: there is a tiny spot of missing ink on the upper right-hand corner of the Player 2 window(see pic).
The playfield has a couple of small wear spots (see pics), and two extra holes for unknown reasons. There is some ball swirl and dirt (see pic of beard), that may be lessened by an experienced person but does affect gameplay.
I have rebuilt all three flippers and installed new EOS switches. The boards are in great shape, I included pics of the two areas on the solenoid driver board that tend to overheat and burn on System 9 games, but these are in good shape.
The Player 4 display is an original Sorcerer System 9 display, but the Player 1,2,3 and Score/Match displays are newer Beckman displays that appear to have come from a 1987 Williams "Gold Mine" shuffle alley. so they look a little sharper. All digits and segments burn brightly.
The cabinet and head are solid and the decals appear to have little or no fading. The coin door can be touched up or repainted, coin mechs are in place. The serial number is 57217, date of manufacture has faded out. This is a domestic game. A complete manual with schematics is included.
This machine is not NIB, HUO, Collector Quality, Perfect or Better. It is a fun, player's game with a few cosmetic issues, but it plays great and is dependable. And for someone who is not looking for a museum piece, isn't that what you want in a pin?
If you're interested, please replay via Pinmail or by phone with any questions. I am located about 1 hour northeast of Baltimore and two hours southwest of Philly, convenient to I-95 and I-83.
Thanks for looking,
Alan Leroy
