$ 400
I brought home a few more machines this week and something needs to give, so I'll be letting go of one of my project games.
This game is a non-working project. I have not plugged it in or done much with it since I picked it up other than collect some replacement parts for it.
There is a spare unpopulated playfield that I will also include with the game (at no extra cost), which is in better condition than the one in the game.
This game could make a decent player's machine once repaired/shopped. Stencils are available for the cabinet from a couple of places online if you choose to go with a full restore.
The Bad:
Cabinet is rough, playfield has wear, and the backglass was spray painted on the back with white spray pant by a previous owner to halt flaking. Playfield glass has a chunk taken out of one of the corners, so new glass (27-5/8" x 43" x 3/16") will be needed (Allerdice Glass & Mirror in Saratoga Springs gave me the cheapest quote last time I checked). The apron is a bit bent, but I also have a spare from a Williams Scorpion that could be substituted if desired. One of the connectors (I can't remember which one) is burned, and will need to be replaced.
The Good:
Appears to be complete. Has a complete set of unbroken plastics (one plastic is showing as broken on the playfield, but I have a replacement for it). The circuit boards appear to be clean and unmarred, but will need to be refurbished and bullet-proofed to ensure reliable operation. A manual (professional photocopy) with the schematics and an original instruction booklet are included.
If you have anything in my WTB ads, I will entertain full or partial trades. I would also take untested/non-working circuit boards from pretty much any pinball system (as long as they aren't badly scorched or affected by too much battery damage).
Local pick-up preferred. There are no stairs and this will be easy to load up in your vehicle. I can assist with loading.
Note: the backbox on this game is very heavy--possibly 100-150lbs by itself. This was one of Williams' games where everything including the transformer was installed in the backbox.
I can dig out the game and provide more photos on request (it's boxed in at the moment).
