Up for sale is this gem from my collection. I've owned it for about the last 5 years or so. It's absolutely gorgeous! Picking up a new GoT LE & something has to go :-(
The story behind the "LE" side of it is as follows. When Jack was still pushing Sterns through Pinballsales.com he approached Gary about doing something special for collectors. He labeled it Limited Edition and only made a small amount (less than 20 if memory serves me correctly). This was kind of the template that then led into the Stern "LE's" as we know them today. The SM Red LE came with the following upgrades:
- Limited Edition Chrome Plaque
- Colored Webbie Plastics
- Signed Translite by Gary Stern & Steve Ritchie
- Webbed Side Armor Button Rails
In addition to those goodies I have added the following:
- Colored the trim hardware blue
- Full LED's
- Mirror Blades
- Shaker Motor
