Condition: Fully restored (full original status)
$ 550
*update: Price drop, make me an offer
The good
----------
* Completely stripped the top playfield
* Playfield has been touched up
* Cleaned and flame polished and flattened all plastics
* polished all metal pieces
* Cleaned and rebuilt the pop bumpers, replaced 2 caps
* rebuilt flippers, including new springs and upgraded coils to HOT for more kick
* Fully LED'd everything (playfield is warm white, backbox is a mixture of bright white, warm white, and red highlights)
* Replaced all rubbers
* replaced feet
* The backglass is in good condition, probably thanks to the GI going out from a cut ground wire. There was some paint missing in the "sky jump" text, the helmet, and some of the jumpsuits which has been touched up. There is a small chunk of white by the score that got rubbed off during cleaning
* The inside is very clean, especially the coinbox
The ok
--------
* The playfield had major planking. It has been touched up by hand with acrylics, and then coated with a light water based clear latex. The lines are thicker than I wanted them to be, I had to use decals to recreate some of the text so you will be able to see outlines looking closely
* original legs have some corrosion. I polished them up the best I can (and the outside shines pretty nicely), but the insides aren't as nice
* Cabinet art still looks decent. There are a few small spots where paint is worn down (under lockbar, red paint scraped where the serial number is)
bad
------
* There is a small slit of a hole in the bottom of the cabinet. It is underneath the thick wood inside the cabinet
* There is a crack on the right coin face
This is not a HEP or clay restoration, but I think the price reflects the amount of work I put into this. This would be a great wedgehead to add to a collection.
