The NBA Finals are here, and it's a perfect time for me to pass on this NBA pinball machine by Stern. This is not NBA Fastbreak or Space Jam, but it has similarities to both. NBA started as a sort of recreation of Space Jam for overseas markets (China), then further designed by John Borg into a unique, full featured game for the US market. However, there are less than 200 of these games in existence. It has voice-over commentary by Tim Kitzrow, same as NBA Fastbreak and NBA Jam. There are 3 ways to get the ball into the hoop. The game plays fast and a bit crazy with the spinning basketball.
This particular game was acquired from a distributor who really only had it out as a display unit. So it is not a HUO but it has as much play/wear as one, maybe less. Aside from playing it more, the only things I've done to the game are put LEDs in the GI, and replace the spinning basketball pad (had a new one in the machine). Goodie bag and manual still inside, though not stapled.
May consider trades but would rather sell this outright. Shipping via STI is no problem, usually around $400, insured.
