For sale is my 1972 Gottlieb Flying Carpet pinball machine. 100% working and shopped with new rubber rings and waxed playfield. This is a desirable, single player wedgehead EM machine with great ratings/reviews on IPDB ( http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=899 ). Wired for free play so you don't have to put quarters in it. Comes with schematic. Fun and fast playing machine with very sensitive and powerful pop bumpers, which is essential to have ball hit those stand-up targets directly above. Good ruleset, easy to understand but difficult to master, guaranteed to give you a challenge game after game! Light up both "Flying" and "Carpet" within 5 balls and then hit the lit Special target/rollover to earn a special(replay). Each letter is duplicated on the playfield with a mix of stand-ups and rollovers, so plenty of things to shoot at. Would be an awesome first pinball machine! In good condition for age, but has some wear above the right flipper and another spot a few inches to the left of that (see pics). Cabinet in good shape but has some typical scratches. Plastics in excellent shape with no fading or cracks. Backglass has some flaking in the "Flying Carpet" words and some where the lights are behind the people but otherwise no fading and colors are bright and vibrant. All fuses were checked and are the correct values. Overall the game is in good shape and working 100%.
