Item description

I just pulled a Gottlieb Touchdown out of a warehouse this evening along with another machine, but I don't really have room for both without rearranging things and I'm not much of a sports fan. IPDB claims there were only 711 made, so this looks like somewhat of an unusual find.

So, before I change my mind about keeping this and start shuffling things around to make room--$525 OBO.

More photos are in the forum thread.

The cabinet body is in good shape. The boards seem to be clean--no battery damage or scorch marks (with the exception of the typical power supply mark at CR7). The apron and the coin door seem to be in good shape.

The backglass is peeling and I am in the process of sealing it.

The playfield has a wear spot on each inlane (from the ball exiting the inlane kick-out holes). There is wear along the arch, wear in the shooter lane, and wear around the pop bumpers. One of the pop bumper caps is missing tabs, so it doesn't fit snugly. The other caps fit snugly, but are missing tabs. There is one missing post near the left outlane. One of the flippers is stuck.

The center of the playfield has been mylared, so it still looks pretty good.

All the plastics are intact--none are cracked or broken. The spinners appear to be in good condition.

[edit]:
I am currently in the process of sealing the backglass and putting together a parts order from PBR (bumper caps, flipper rebuild kit, new solenoids for flippers, cabinet switches, shooter parts, rubber ring kit, etc).

The more parts and work I put into this pin, the more the price inches up. Hurry up and get it now while you can still get a deal :)

[edit 2]: Willing to bring to Allentown :)

[edit 3]: The game now coins up.

[edit 4]: I just ordered some new parts to rebuild the flippers, shooter assembly, new pop bumper caps, new lock for the coin door, rubber kit, and the manual.

[edit 5]: All the lights and electronics are now fully working.

[edit 6]: The backglass is sealed, but could use a few more coats.
