For sale is my Williams Hyperball! This is a really cool videogame/pinball hybrid designed by Steve Ritchie in 1981. It’s in very nice condition.

The cannon has been completely rebuilt with a NOS unobtanium plastic tipped piston. It plays like BRAND NEW. Aim is spot on, and recoil is silent. Also it has a new Triac power supply board for the cannon.

MPU has no battery damage (new or old) and has NVRAM installed. Also headers have been reflowed and plugs rebuilt. Large ceramic capacitors have been raised off the driver board for better heat dissipation. And there is a new 42 pin connector. All original displays are bright and perfect.

Power supply has been rebuilt and GI plug replaced.

New Legs and levelers.

Ball lift auger has been completely disassembled and cleaned. Including opening up the gearbox, removing the 41 year old rock hard grease and cleaning/re-greasing the gears. “joysticks” have been disassembled, cleaned, greased and adjusted.

Playfield is in beautiful shape, rear targets have new decals, all switches work. All plastics are in very good condition. I added sticky back felt to the “ball drop board: under the PF and to parts of the auger assembly which cuts all that noise down SIGNIFICANTLY.

I’ve LED’d (Comet warm White single SMD frosted) the GI only. I left the backbox and under the PF incandescent 47s (Looks better that way in my opinion).

Also the balls (all 55 of them) are new too.
