I changed brands from the original servo used to get a stronger gear train, after reading that the original servo had a history of gear train failure. Hitec the maker of the servo I used says that their Karbonite gears are 4x stronger stronger than the standard white nylon gears. And according to the manufacturer's (Hitec) advertising: after hundreds of thousands of cycles the gears do not show any signs of wear. The arm is 6061-T6 aluminum, with a hardened steel pin with a glass filled nylon roller. It will not fail like a 3D printed arm. The servo is brand new and has been machined to fit the steel bracket, and new isolation mounts and 4-40 screw are iincluded.
