1974 Williams Star Pool. Project game, no back glass or back box rear cover. Playfield is ok with some planking and paint loss. Cabinet is good, although it has some scratches the wood is solid and doesn’t show signs of water damage. I have started this project but don’t have the time or interest to finish it. What I have done so far. The wires were cut between main cabinet and back box( apparently at some point in the game’s life the back box needed to be removed and the person removing it didn’t understand how plugs work) I have soldered and shrink tubed all of those wires. I also put a new power cord in. I have cleaned the game up and put new bulbs and rubber rings. I have also rebuilt the flipper assemblies and put new flipper bats on the game. I cleaned up the spinning disc mech and it spins really well now. The game is currently playable but is not advancing players correctly. I have not looked too much into this yet, kind of looking to pass this project on to someone else at this point. If just looking to part this game out it, many decent usable parts could be harvested from this game.
