For sale: Project 1968 Daffie Pinball Machine

For sale is a 1968 Williams Daffie Project Pinball machine. This is an Electro Mechanical (EM) machine that plays, but has some problems. I believe the stepper unit in the head of the machine is in need of adjustment. It worked perfectly when I got the machine, but I decided to take it apart and clean it, and I cannot get the setting back to where it should be. It is in a continual reset, but if I pull on the magnet coil that resets the machine, it plays. The good is, all brand new rubbers throughout the entire machine, brand new frosted LED's throughout the entire machine, playfield in in good condition, and has been cleaned and waxed. Every coil, switch, electrical connector, everything has been gone through, and either cleaned or replaced with new. I did purchase 3 new coils and installed in the machine also. Coin mech is in the machine and works great. You put a dime in it, and it suddenly comes alive.
Very cool. The machine is also the "add a ball" version of the Doozie machine.
It came from Wisconsin, where pinballs that awarded a "free game" in 1968 was considered gambling, so instead of winning a free game, it adds extra balls when you hit certain scores. This also has the zipper flippers in it, meaning, when you hit the right target, the flippers close enough together so the ball cannot go through. Very unique and rare feature.
The Bad: The back glass has some light flaking, and it continually resets. Once the adjustment is set and it plays, It would look great in any bar, basement, garage, man cave, hunting shack, cabin, basement, home, etc. It is on the main floor for easy loading.
