For Sale: A nice, and fully working, example of one of the iconic Bally classics - Nitro Ground Shaker! A full tear-down, bulletproofing, and shop job, was just completed - the game looks great, and plays 100%.

Details of the work is as follows:

• SOLENOID DRIVER BOARD: The two electrolytic filter capacitors were replaced w/new, the recommended ground modifications completed, and all connector pins were inspected and re-flowed as-needed.

• MPU: The original PCB was washed/neutralized, the dedicated rechargeable battery removed, and the memory-function restored with a new Weebly NVRAM. Faulty components at Q1, Q5, R11, and UR1 were replaced w/new. New 2716 ROM's were burned with the latest code, and the jumpers changed to accommodate. All connector pins were inspected and re-flowed as-needed.

• LAMP DRIVER: All connector pins were inspected and re-flowed as-needed. Q59 was replaced w/new.

• DISPLAYS: All connector pins were inspected and re-flowed as-needed. The original displays are exceptionally bright and clear, and the voltage at which they run has been reduced to preserve them during future use.

• RECTIFIER BOARD: Replaced two connector headers, and repined all the corresponding female connectors w/new Trifurcon pins.

• SHOP JOB: Details of the general shop-work completed is as follows:

- All playfield & backbox GI lighting was replaced with new cool/natural white Comet LED's (feature lights still incandescent);

- Complete top-side tear-down;

- A couple under-playfield wiring-hacks restored to factory configuration;

- Playfield cleaned, polished, and waxed;

- All playfield rubbers were replaced w/new;

- All rubber post-cap push retainers replaced w/new;

- New leg levelers installed;

- New custom instruction/pricing cards w/new acetate covers installed;

- New pinball installed; and

- One broken plastic was replaced with a matching used-original from a fellow Pinside'r.

Please review the pictures closely for additional condition details, and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, or if you would like to see additional photos of a specific area. The original playfield has great color and is presentable, but, is not without the center playfield insert-wear common to this title. This wear is not as bad as many I have seen, and all original insert text/decals are undamaged, so the wear doesn't feel as offensive. The original backglass is very-nice, and without flaking or any major flaws (awesome art on this game!). The cabinet shows very nice. The reds on the sides are not extensively faded out, which is again fairly uncommon for this title. The reds in the front are fairly faded, but the quality/condition of the original coin door offsets the faded look in my opinion. The cabinet is in great shape, doesn't appear to have ever been abused or exposed to moisture or a bad storage environment. It is about as solid as they come for a game of this age.

The game is located in Central Pennsylvania, just off I-80. Pickup is highly preferred, but shipping is all-good too as long as the buyer makes all the arraignments, and payment-in-full has cleared my account before the game leaves my possession. "Grab and Go Gaming" (private game shipper) will be at my place next week or the week after to drop off a couple games - so you may be able to work a good shipping price with them if you want to go the shipping route.

IN REGARD TO THE CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC: This pin is currently located in my clean, dry, and climate controlled man-cave. If a meaningful deposit is received, you're more than welcome to leave it there until such a time when you are comfortable picking it up. In that scenario, I do reserve the right to at least one or two games a week though! If you would like to get it into your lineup ASAP, I am open to a pickup anytime, and we can easily abide by all of the recommended practices for interaction. You can drive right into the building and almost right up to your new machine. I have all the lifts/dolly's/carts needed to make loading it a breeze. I will leave it as you're call, and I will respect and accommodate what ever you decide.
