FOR SALE: A nice example of an iconic Williams system-6 machine, bulletproofed with all-new circuitry - Gorgar! This machine recently came to me as part of a mid-sized collection buy, and is a little older than the pins I gravitate to. The previous owner did the majority of the shop-work and modifications; however, he gave-up on the project after the machine would not start a game, or the displays would not come up, once the new board set was installed. I spent some time with it, got it figured out, and it now functions and plays 100%. I also went back through a lot of the previous work to to make certain it was sound, and done correctly. There are A LOT of new parts in this machine, and a very cool Laseriffic topper included.

The light-color on the playfield mostly comes from LED lighted posts (a small LED PCB underneath the star-posts), and a few LED light strips under the plastics. The previous owner had many more of these installed, as well as the whole backbox done up in nothing but colored LED strips. I reversed the work on the backbox, and put in standard Comet LED's. I also pulled out much of the light color on the playfield to make it tolerable. If the new owner would prefer the remainder of the GI color and post lights be removed, and replaced with standard white LED GI lighting, before they take position - I would be happy to do this, for the same money, before the machine leaves. Some guys like the color, and I must admit the lighted posts are a novel look on this machine. Some guys HATE the color, and need to have a puke bucket ready as soon as they hit the switch. For the purposes of this sale, you can have it either way.

The work I completed to get the game working, and button it up, is as follows:

* Repaired the main wiring harness in multiple-locations to correct switch matrix issues (the reason it would not start a game).

* Replaced the faulty IC (74HCT154N) at IC6 on the brand-new MPU board (this is why the machine had no displays, and must have blown when a display was added/removed with the game powered).

*Added bridge rectifier fuses - the ones Williams forgot.

* Removed the colored backbox GI lighting, and replaced with new Comet LED's.

* Went back through all the parts that were previously removed for painting and properly secured/adjusted everything, and repaired/replaced a pile of stripped/missing/incorrect hardware.

* Partially tore down the playfield to repair stripped posts, remove loose/unsecured light strips, and re-route modification wiring.

*Adjusted and properly secured the drops, and pops.

A list of new parts recently installed, but never used, by the previous owner is as follows:

* New Kohout Enterprises MPU - these boards are well done, and generally awesome!
* New Kohout Driver Board.
* New Kohout Power Supply Board.
* New Kohout Sound/Speech Combo Board.
* New Wolfpack red LED displays set.
* New 3D printed light baffles.
* New Backglass (small wear spot in upper right corner from misadjusted light baffle).
* New Laseriffic Topper.
* New playfield plastic set.
* New magnetic apron cover.
* New pop bumper bodies, skirts, and caps.
* New drop target decals.
* Full LED lighting (GI and feature) - with the exception of the heart flasher in the backbox.
* Comet Lighted posts.
* New black flipper bats.
* Titan rubber.
* New cabinet speaker.
* New black leg bolts & levelers - new cabinet leg brackets.
* New power cord.
* New shooter rod, sleeve, springs, and washers.
* New Locks.
* Probably more I am not seeing, or is not worth mentioning.

Please review the pictures closely for additional condition details, and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, or if you would like to see additional photos of a specific area. The original playfield is very presentable on this example, but does have two small areas of wear (left flipper and right sling). The original cabinet is solid and without any water/moisture damage; however, it does show some bumps/bruises and touch-up.

The game is located in Central Pennsylvania, just off I-99. Pickup is highly preferred, but shipping is all-good too, as long as the buyer makes all the arraignments, and payment-in-full has cleared my account before the game leaves my possession. Delivery to Allentown Pinfest in late July is possible, as I am planning to attend.
