I have machine reserved with a $1,000 deposit that I no longer need. You are bidding on the opportunity to take my place and purchase directly from the distributor for the MSRP of $9,200. You pay me $3,700 but you get my $1,000 deposit (net $2,700 to you). Accordingly, your total cost would be $11,900 plus tax (on $9,200) and shipping which you would pay directly to the distributor.
