We're back!

After a disaster in our datacenter took down our server, we are now running Pinside on a brand new server. However, things may not work as expected as we are still polishing the playfield and adjusting some switches! We might be switching to maintenance mode a few times. Please see this forum topic for more info.

Item description

As the original advertisement for the 1984 Williams Pennant Fever pinball machines states that ”From Take me out to the Ballgame to umpires calls and boos and cheers from the crowd, PENNANT FEVER brings the game alive.” This fabulous machine is in great shape and good working order with all of the bulbs, lights and flipper functioning fully. The scoreboard is digital and the working sound effects include crowd noise and umpire calls. From the floor to the highest point it measures 5’6” with the deck measuring 2’ wide and 4’7” in length. By removing the legs it can be lowered 24” for moving purposes. The electronic game features a single flipper shaped like a bat for the player to strike the ball. The ball can hit off several panels on the lower deck for a hit or an out, but if the ball makes the upper deck, it is a home run. Even in this age of video and online multi-player games, a fully functioning baseball game like this is still tons of fun. There is a bat speed control knob inside the machine (behind the locked access panel) which can be adjust from never hitting a home run to almost always hitting a home run, and anywhere in between. This machine has spent most of its life in private homes so does not have the wear and abuse of an arcade machine. Every once in a while a second ball is “pitched” at the same time as the first but it does not affect the scoring (is not counted as an Out). There is some cracking on the edges of the back glass but the main part of the display is good. There are the usual nicks and scratches on the box but most of the artwork is good. The machine weights approximately 200 pounds.

Mark Ritchie design. Rare machine with only 750 Produced!
