Item description

1947 Mexico by United Manufacturing.

This machine looks great for the age and had flippers added to it, likely not long after being manufactured. The best is the playfield paint is in fantastic condition. There ae some pinholes around the middle, which based on looking at pictures of other Mexico's, I have no idea why they would be there. It's so minor I almost forgot to mention.

The cabinet art is really decent, but there are scratches. The backglass is beatutiful, but there is a spot on the bottom where the paint is starting to flake.

The machine plays and all of the backglass and pop bumper lights work. Only one of the inserts is lighting at this time. The inserts could use some love as well. Some of the bulbs will kind of go in and out due to loose sockets. It also has one missing post by the bottom. See pics for all of this.

With all that said, I still can barely believe how well this works after 73 years. When cleaning up I did notice the issues listed above (some I already knew), and just to keep this simple I'm asking $250 firm, which covers what I have into it.

I'm selling because the kids played at first, but it isn't holding anyone's attention anymore and I would like to free up room.

You move. It is located in my basement.

Here is the history of this machine that was given to me by the person I bought it from, almost two years ago, which I believe is worth sharing. The seller to me believes the pin was used in a pool hall in Belleville Illinois. It was in the basement of her grandmother's neighbor in the 50's. The grandmother talked her parents in getting it from the neighbor. Since then it has been in the seller's grandparents' basement and her parents' basement. When the seller to me purchased their current home, which has a lot of square feet, the mother suggested the seller move it to that house. She sold to me because they were redoing the house and was trying to make space. I have a thread on this if you want to search.
