I have a great playing Getaway for sale. Everything works 100% including the mars lamp. Supercharger is nice and fast as well. The cabinet is faded, but the playfield and plastics are in really nice shape.

I did a topside teardown on this game about 200 plays ago. The playfield was cleaned and polished. All metals and hardware were either regrained or polished. Installed all new new star posts, new lower flipper bats, new target foam, colored cliffy posts, and white rubber kit with PerfectPlay flipper rubber. Also installed comet leds everywhere. The playfield has 2SMD’s in the playfield with natural white in the GI and color matched inserts. Backbox is 1SMD natural white frosted. Flashers are all Comet led as well. I installed a sheet of rubylith on the DMD to change the color to red. The CPU has NVRAM and the U20 chip has been socketed.

The game does have some minor issues. The translite has plexi instead of glass, one connector needs to be redone at some point (works fine but is a little burnt), and the top line of the displayed image on the DMD is not as bright as the rest of the image. I don’t think it’s the DMD though, because if it displays two rows of text the top line on each row is slightly dimmed. It’s been this way since I got the game 3 years ago.
